After the wedding was over everyone helped get the barn ready for the reception then once it was ready and lit with candles and fairy lights were turned on and lanterns were turned on. Winnie said "Ladies and Gentlemen let's watch as the bride and groom takes their first dance."
Mark turned off the main light as "I'll Be"(Acoustic Version) by Edwin Mcain started to play as Bucky placed his forehead against hers and had both hands on her lower back as she had hers around his neck both of them had their eyes closed as they took in their first dance.
Bucky and her wanted their first dance to be romantic which was they had the main light turned off in the barn and had the room light up with low dimmed lights like the fairy lights and candles and lanterns. Like it was just them in the room as everyone stayed quiet.
James walked over to Winnie and whispered "We did good."
She squeezed his hand and said "We did. But I think he had a little help with an angel on his side."
After their dance was over her dad turned on "My Girl" by Temptations and they had their father daughter dance. "You still got it baby." Mark said as she remembered the steps he taught when she was little and would dance on his feet.
"Thanks daddy." She said with a smile
"You are welcome baby." he said
The next song that started to play was "Mother" by Sugarland and Bucky lead his mom on to the dance floor. She said "Son you are going to make me cry."
He kissed her cheek and said "Don't cry."
After the dances were over Bucky pulled Addalynn to him and he said "You ready baby."
"Yeah." she said with a smile.
"Friends and Family me and my beautiful have something that we would like to tell you all something that we have known for awhile but wanted to keep it secret till the time was right." Bucky said as he had a remote in his hand.
"If everyone could please turn your attention to the white screen please." Addalynn said
Bucky pressed play on the remote and "From The Ground Up" started to play and it started a slew of pictures of the two of them at Fort Bragg and their pretend wedding then more recent ones then at the very end of the slide show was her most recent ultrasound with "Baby Barnes Coming In October."
They heard gasps throughout the room and then they turned around their parents smiling at them and Mark said "I knew something was off when I danced with you."
She smiled as she made her small bump show through her dress and said "Baby Barnes."
Bucky said "We find out in 6 weeks if baby is a boy or a girl. She's 14 weeks pregnant."
"Oh my gosh.." Carrie said as she put her hands on her bump.
"You all have been keeping this secret this long." James said
"Well she was very nervous about telling you all then the doctor told us that we should wait till she started her 2nd trimester cause that's when the risk of miscarriages goes down." Bucky said
"We actually found the morning we told you all that we want to make this a reality." Addalynn said
After the rest of the family said their congratulations and gave hugs and the reception was over everyone went home. "Can I tell you something baby." he said as they were sitting on the tailgate.
"Sure." she said as she ate her cupcake.
"I have a wedding gift for you." he said
"You mean more than these delicious cupcakes." she said
"Yes." he said
"Okay what is it." she said
"Get in the truck." he said
They both got in the truck and he blindfolded her and then they took off to where ever his surprise was. Then he helped her out of the truck and then he helped her up a set of stairs then she heard him unlock a door.
"Welcome home baby." he said as he pulled a blindfold off.
"You got us an apartment?' she said
"I did it's two bedrooms two baths. Our parents are helping us pay for it along with me working for my uncle." he said
"Baby you are amazing." she said as she turned to him and kissed him. He walked her backwards and he whispered "No that's you baby but now hope the baby is sleeping cause daddy needs to consummate with mama."
"OH yeah I think I might like that." she said
She dropped her dress then he laid her down on the bed and made love to her.
