"You will catch cold, Madam", Gwen draped a warm piece of cloth on my shoulders. "This is your hot coffee", she offered. I tried to smile at her kindness, but fail and look away from her. I was sitting on the bench in the garden, watching the dead and dried roses.

It's been three months since I married Damon, and three months since they said Declan left me forever even when he promised he won't and I been living like a walking corpse.

"Madam, do you know that Sir is coming back today?", Gwen tried to make a conversation, but I was too stubborn and tongue tied to give in so I shook my head no. "Oh! He is coming, and he also told Lalita to take your suggestion and make something to your liking for dinner", she excitedly inform.

To my liking. What about his? I nodded and took a quick sip of the coffee. Damon was the same the person, I've known five years ago before he went out to study in Harvard. Rock face, carrying an emotionless look and a complete workaholic. Ever since the day we got married, he buried himself in his study and skipped meals just like I did for the first few weeks, until my rib bones showed up and he forced me to accompany him for food. He also worked out in his gym, he hid better than I did by locking himself inside his room for days until one day he had be carried to the hospital. I watched the days pass by unmoving while he swayed from side to side in sorrow. In this big ass mansion, we both lived like dead people.

So many times I wanted to run away, but I had no where to run. Although I didn't enjoy Damon's company but I didn't hate it too. We never exchanged any greetings, we never told each that it's gonna be okay, we didn't console each other or asked any questions, we never even once locked eyes with each other. We both lived in grief and that was fine. Also, I felt closer to Declan here, his photos were everywhere along with his memories.

Only last month Damon went for a business trip, that he was returning today from. I hugged the cloth tight when the soft breeze blew, brushing through my face and I stood up after placing the cup on the bench.

"Do you want to go inside?", Gwen asked. I didn't answer as I start walking away from her, towards the gate. "Madam?" She tried to stop me. "Please, it's getting dark and the wind is cold. Let's get in", she pleaded.

"I.. I want to take a walk, Gwen and please call me Ari", I said, my voice barely came out due to speaking after so long time.

"Okay, but let me accompany you", she offered sweetly. She was a year younger than me, curly blonde haired girl and the little freckles on her face reminded me Dora who I miss and I wish I could talk to her right now. Not only did I not have thier current address, but not even thier contact number. I can only hope them to be safe after she and Manny eloped. About May, I still have no clue where she could be after she went missing two years ago.

"Sure."

I waited as Gwen went to talk with the watch guard, to open the gate. After few minutes, I found myself again going back on the same path I go every day. The cemetery was not far, only few blocks apart from Damon Doherty's mansion.

"Do you still want to follow me?", I asked looking back at Gwen, who was shifting uncomfortably on her feet. "Please, give me a moment. I'll be back soon", I told her.

My feet subconsciously took me to the place, until I found myself standing infront of him again.

Silence.
