Keith sat at his desk, chin in hand and a very bored expression on his face. That, of course, was because he was bored. Very very bored. Ever since his older brother and Adam had lost their shit about him being with Lotor, he had been put under what was essentially house arrest.

It was stupid.

What he'd done hadn't even been that bad! As far as he knew, Lance had been caught doing the same thing, and Hunk and Allura had even been caught going farther (that was only once, though). So Keith was pretty darn sure that his guardians were just overreacting.

He groaned softly and finally grabbed his backpack off of his bed. He might as well get some of this dumb homework done. After he had gotten his binder out that he needed, he reached over and opened his bedroom window. He just felt like he needed the air a little, okay? No harm in that.

The way his room was situated gave him a direct view of the side of the Holt house. There was another window directly across from his. It wasn't Pidge's room, though, thank god. It was her brother's.

Matthew Holt was older than most of them by a couple of years. He was younger than Shiro, but they had been put in the same accelerated learning program when Matt was in kindergarten and Shiro was in 5th grade, so they knew each other pretty well. Now Matt was 20, and in college.

He still hung out a lot with Pidge and her friends, though. They all thought he was really cool, Pidge told them he was just a nerd. Keith still thought Matt was really cool.

From his position at his desk, he could see perfectly into Matt's room. He was sitting on the floor, video game controller in hand. Oh yeah, and he was shirtless, for some reason.

Keith really tried to not focus on that part.
(It was a lot harder than it looked.)

Face burning, Keith glanced away. He shouldn't even be checking out cute shirtless guys. He had a boyfriend, for God's sake. Well, if his brother had anything to say about it, he probably wouldn't be having a boyfriend for very much longer. Keith's phone dinged from where it was on his bed. He glanced over at it, biting his bottom lip. He knew he wasn't technically supposed to look at it, but.... Adam wasn't home right now, and Shiro was passed out asleep on the couch.

It was finally Friday, thank god, and the first week of detention was already over, which was crazy. It felt like time had flown by. Not, of course, that Keith would be doing anything that weekend. Briefly, he thought about sneaking out, but he knew that all of his friends would probably be busy.

Lance and Allura had their family reunion thing, Hunk would more than likely have football practice, and Pidge would probably stay holed up in her room all day, fiddling with her electronics and shit. Or whatever it was that she did. And Keith.... Keith would be all alone. He sighed, heavily, just as his phone dinged again. Finally, he got up to go get it. He saw that he had two messages from Lotor.

03:15 Lotor: are you doing anything this weekend?
03: 17 Lotor: babe?

Keith sighed softly, and pulled up the keyboard to type out an answer.

03:18 Keith: no, probably not. grounded, remember?
03:18 Keith: why?
03:20 Lotor: just wondering. figured we could go out on a date or smth.
03:21 Keith: you know we can't. my brother would kill me
03:22 Lotor: awww, c'mon, babe. live a little.

It occurred to Keith that this guy was probably a bad influence on his already bad track record.

03:30 Keith: well..... I'll think about it.
