ICE MADE ( On Hold )

Chapter 5

The next day I'm up early despite it being Saturday. There's a lot of stuff I want to get done and I want to make sure I have time for everything.

I go and take a hot shower which does a good job of waking me up. I rummage the closet for something to wear and end up choosing my favorite jeans, and a white shirt. Of course I also wear my knee-high brown boots and throw on a jacket that matches them.

I decide to wear my hair in a ponytail since I don't want to wait for it to dry so I can style it. I try pinning my bangs and short layers back but they keep coming undone.

Finally I let them lose and hope they don't get wavy or messy. Lastly I apply some eyeliner to my eyelids, mascara and some blush on my pale skin.

I leave my room and smell the delicious scent of coffee coming from the kitchen. I walk in and almost laugh when I see Lucy sitting at the table staring at nothing trying to stay awake.
She smiles when she sees my amused look and sips her coffee.

"Good morning." She says hoarsely.

"Morning. What are you doing up this early?" I ask her.

"I have a class on Saturdays for this semester." She yawns.

"Oh."

"Where are you going?" She eyes me as she realizes I'm fully dressed with my purse in hand.

"I need to take my car for maintenance and then I need to get some shopping done." There was a few things I needed for my room.

"Oh ok. But don't worry about getting anything for the kitchen or living room ok? We have everything here." She smiles.

She was too kind.

"Ok but we still haven't discussed bills or rent."

"Don't worry about it right now. We can do that later."

"Ok." I grin.

"Well, I'm gonna go shower or else I won't make it through the door. There's still some coffee left if you want some. See you later." She leaves to her room.

I drink a cup and go to my car. I almost have a breakdown when it won't turn on. After some patience and turning it on and off the engine comes to life. I take it to get an oil change and the guy mentions the hundreds of things wrong with it. He suggests I sell it as I'll probably spend more trying to repair it then what I'll get for it. I thank him but there is absolutely no way I'm getting rid of this car.

I walk around the mall and make a mental list of what I need. I get some bed sheets, pillowcases, a blanket and towels. I also add toiletries and some stuff to decorate the room a little. I'm going to need drawers and maybe even a table to do homework and study. But of course I will have to come back for that another day. By the time I'm done I've spent a lot of money and realize I need to find a job as soon as possible.

It's past noon already, Im tired and starving. My stomach is growling and I feel a massive headache coming on. I stop at a juice and smoothie bar to order a strawberry and banana smoothie. The lady hands me my smoothie which I struggle to hold with all the bags in my hands.

Just then I spot Natsu and Gray.

Headed my way!

Shit. I look around trying to find somewhere to hide. The last thing I want is to deal with Grays obnoxious attitude. I'm about to go behind a fake palm tree they have as decoration when Natsu calls out my name.

"Juvia!"

Crap.

I put on the best smile I can and act completely surprised.
