Gray's POV

Sure enough when I get outside Natsu is on the floor with two of James friends on top of him. Instead of doing the sensible thing and separating them, all the idiots at this party are cheering on and recording with their stupid phones.

All except Erza and Lucy who are the only ones actually trying to do something. I see everyones expressions change from excited to nervous when they see me coming with a furious look on my face.

Those fuckers always played dirty, going two against one instead of making it a fair fight. Though I have no doubt that Natsu started this mess.

"Where's Gajeel and Laxus!" I yell at Levy over the noise.

"I don't know. I think they left!"

I go for the bigger one, I pull him of Natsu and throw him to the floor and start punching him. I feel all the anger return from when James tried to kiss Juvia. He may not be here but this fucker was, so far that was good enough for me. I needed to get this anger out and unfortunately this guy was going to suffer the consequences.

I sock him in the face just as he's about to tackle me. He stumbles back looking dazed yet he comes for me again. And again I punch him and wrestle him. He manages to punch me really good on the ribs but I barely feel the blow, still overcome with anger. All I see is that bastard putting his filthy hands all over Juvia.

And then Juvia kissing him!

"Gray!" That familiar voice calls to me.

I stop and turn to Juvia, she looks scared.

No!

I don't want her to be scared of me. I hold Natsu back and watch as those two idiots stumble to get up, wiping blood from their nose and lips.

"You're gonna regret this." One of them spits.

"Fuckers." The other mumbles as they leave.

"Are you guys ok?" Erza asks as she tries to get a look at our bruises.

"Im fine." I wave her off as she goes to Natsu and inspects every part of him. She always worried about us and was very protective, she was like a little sister to us.

"Did I miss something?" Mira asks coming out of nowhere, concern on her face.

"Oh nothing much. You know just Natsu being an idiot again." Lucy says with her arms crossed at her chest as she glares at Natsu.

"They started it ok. I just finished it." Natsu defends himself as Erza checks his bruised cheekbone making him flinch.

"Yeah you always have to finish it huh? You can never stay quiet." Lucy scolds him.

"What was I supposed to do? Just let them talk shit?!" He glares at her.

"Just ignore them Natsu. God. When will you ever learn." She tells him exasperated.

"Shut up Lucy. No one asked for your opinion." he snaps at her. I see her anger rise, quickly I intervene before they can start their bantering like always.

"What happened?" I ask Natsu.

He stays silent.

"Tell him what idiotic reason you got in a fight for this time." Lucy rolls her eyes at him.

"They kept saying we were cheaters and scared of them when we played that game at Lanas." He shrugs.

Lucy was right. Only Natsu would get in a fight over something so stupid. Though we where both the same in many ways he was too impulsive whereas I controlled my anger more.

"And where the hell where you huh? Those fuckers got me good." He says to me.

"Fuck." He winces again and rubs his jaw.

My eyes got to Juvia who's remained silent so far. I see her cheeks redden as she looks everywhere else but at me.

"Around." I reply.

"We should leave, we'll drop you off at your place Natsu." Erza says.

"So Laxus and Gajeel left?" I ask.

"Yeah. Can you believe those assholes left me here without a ride." Natsu says.

"Come on Juvia. Let's go home." Lucy tells her.

"Ok." She responds.

Her eyes go to me. I know there's something else she wants to say but right now is not the time. I give her a brief nod before she follows Lucy and leaves.

Once they're gone I go to my motorcycle and put my helmet and gloves on. Then I take off at full speed down the street. Juvia is on my mind the whole time. I had tried to keep my distance from her but it hadn't worked. From the first time I saw her at the university I knew she would be trouble for me.

I had never been so captivated by a woman before. And I've had many, but she was different. I remember how brave she'd been the first time she stood up to me. Her beautiful eyes had glared at me and I had been surprised at her reaction. Her eyes, god I could get lost in them. They were so soft and mysterious like the midnight sky or the sea at night, hiding many secrets and mysteries I wanted to discover.

I had been cold to her and rude. I had even offended her, all to keep her away from me yet it had all been in vain. And I couldn't keep away either. Every time I saw she needed my help I was there, trying to play the hero. I knew her so well now. The way her eyes shone when she wanted to cry. How she bit her lip every time she was nervous. And how she stuttered and her eyes fluttered when she was unsure of herself.

I knew I should keep my distance now more than ever. I would just end up hurting her. She was too nice and different from all those girls I've been with. Juvia was more of a romantic and dating type, she would want a relationship. Something I could never give her. Someone as fucked up as me would never be worthy of someone like her. I knew I should spare her all the pain I would cause her but it was too late. I had gotten a taste of her, there was no going back now.

Just remembering the way she had trembled in my arms and her soft moans had me getting all hard again.

Fuck.

I knew she wanted me as much as I wanted her. Each and every day since I laid my eyes on her I had fantasized about having her in my bed. Fucking her until she screamed my name. Begging me to never stop. If only she could play by my rules then we could have that and much more. So as long as she understood my boundaries.

I wanted her and I would have her. Damn everything, she would be mine.
