Tammy grew more nervous with every step she took getting closer to her house. Debbie and Lou were supposed to pick her up in thirty minutes so she would have enough time to pack. Reaching her house she let out a nervous sigh and twisted the handle to open the door.

Seeing no one in the living room or the kitchen she made her way up the stairs to start packing hoping she could avoid them until the other two got there. She had just made it in her room when she heard footsteps descend the stairs. Letting out a sigh of relief she started to pack.

Barley zipping her bag up she heard the doorbell and panicked slightly. 'They're early' she thought as she rushed to grab her purse and bag. Rushing down the stairs she saw her father open the door revealing the brunette and blond.

"Hello, come on in Tammy should be ready soon. Would either of you girls want something to drink?" Her father politely asked to which they kindly said no. Gesturing to the couch he told them to have a seat. " So girls, what grade are you in?" Her mother asked after a moment of uncomfortable silence.

"I'm a senior and Debbie is a junior like Tammy. I'm Lou, I've played softball with Tammy since she first came to the school. She was my little sister her freshman year, I wish we could've hung out more after school but I just got so busy with my extra credits and work that I haven't had the time." Lou told them with a small smile. Knowing what Lou was doing Debbie stepped in.

"I've only met Tammy this year and I haven't had the time either to ask her to come over with being busy and applying to colleges. My parents travel for a living so my brother and I work with Lou at a few different shops in the city for our parents to keep busy. We decided a weekend to ourselves would be a good idea and came up with this girls night with us and a few other friends. I hope it's okay if it's all weekend, my parents  are coming into town Saturday night and wished to meet Tammy since they haven't met her before." Debbie spoke politely to them. Nodding their heads Tammy's parents agreed that she was able to stay the weekend but she would need to be home Sunday evening.

"Of course. We have school Monday after all." Debbie joked with a small smile.

Making her way to the group Tammy cleared her throat. "Mother, father I see you have met Debbie and Lou. Is it okay if we leave now? I don't want to make the other girls wait on us." Looking for a nod of approval Tammy held her breath until it came.

Looking at the other two occupants in the room she smiled, " shall we go?"

Standing Lou and Debbie shook Tammy's parents hands and said their goodbyes. "It was lovely meeting you two." Her mother said as she watched them walk towards the door.

Once the door was closed and they made it safely to the car the girls started laughing. "Do you two really work or was that just something to say to them to make it seem like you do something outside of school?" Tammy finally asked them as they were pulling out of the drive.

Looking at each other a silent conversation was being played out between them. Speaking up Debbie turned to look at Tammy, " we do work for my parents but it's not just a few shops in the city. It's something different and we're not allowed to say anything else until they meet you. But don't worry I've already talked about you to them and they like you from what I've told them." Smiling comforting to the girl Lou nodded agreeing with the brunette.

The ride was left in a silent haze after that none of them knowing what to say. Only when they pulled up to a big fence did Tammy break the silence with a soft "holy crap". Laughing at the girl in awe of her place Debbie hit the button on the visor and opened the gates.

"Welcome to Ocean residence" she laughed as she drove up a long drive way to a big mansion.

Tammy gasped when they got out.  Staring at the place where Debbie ocean lived was not how she imagined it. She knew the girl was wealthy based on her clothes but she never knew she was this wealthy. No one knew who lived at this residence, her parents were never invited inside nor were their friends. Everyone assumed this was a celebrity's home but seeing it was actually Debbie's made it seem even more magical.
