Waking up Tammy felt someone breathing against her neck, turning she saw Lou with her eyes closed and mouth slightly parted. Smiling at the sight Tammy brought her hand up and lightly stroked her cheek with her thumb.
" You'll wake her up if you continue. She's a pretty light sleeper." Tammy heard in her ear as an arm wrapped around her waist pulling her into the body. Blushing at having been caught she stopped quickly. "Sorry, it's just she looks so peaceful." Tammy explained still looking at the sleeping blond. The arm that was wrapped around her shifted so Debbie was leaning over Tammy.
"How are you tam-tam?" Debbie asked seriously. "What are you feeling right now? And be honest."
Tammy bit her lip as she thought about the questions and with a slight nod to herself she leaned up and kissed Debbie softly on the lips. " I'm better and I feel so happy and cared for. Thank you." She said when she pulled away.
Grinning like a fool Debbie nodded and leaned down to kiss Tammy again. " I'm glad sweetie. Lou and I will always be here to make you happy." She promised with another kiss causing the girl giggle softly.
"You two better not be having fun without me." A hoarse voice broke through the air causing Tammy to giggle louder. Turning her head she saw Lou staring at them with a soft smile and eyes shining with something Tammy didn't know what, but it made her stomach flutter.
"Good morning" Debbie told Lou as she leaned across Tammy to kiss the older blond. "Took you long enough to wake up." At that Tammy panicked and tried to get out from under Debbie.
"Deb, I have to get ready fro school and you two need to leave to get ready." The panic in her voice made Debbie and Lou stare at her in concern. "Tam, it's okay. It's only 7:30, school starts at 9. You have plenty of time to get ready." Lou told the frightened blond while pushing her back on the bed.
"No, you don't understand I have to leave at 8, my father expects me to go in for extra credit." Tammy said, shaking Lou's hand off her and wiggled out from under Debbie. "I have to get ready now or he'll be upset if I don't leave on time."
Pulling her pajamas off Tammy walked towards her closet only in her underwear giving the other occupants of the room a clear sight of bruises on her side and back. Hearing a gasp Tammy turned around quickly only to realize she didn't have a shirt on. Cursing at herself she sprinted into her closet and closed the door.
"Tammy, baby open the door please." Debbie's voice carried through the door. Willing the tears back she quickly got dressed in a green striped dress and black flats. Leaning against the door she heard Lou mumble to Debbie about killing the bastard who hurt her girl. Smiling at the protectiveness of her new friend? She didn't know what they were but hearing her willing to fight for her cause a burst of happiness explode in her chest. Feeling Debbie knock once more Tammy took a shaky breath and opened the door.
"Finally" Lou exclaimed once the door was opened. "Take off your dress right now." The tone in her voice left no room for arguing. Hesitating, Tammy looked at the ground shaking her head no. Not liking the answer Lou reached for the bottom of the dress causing Tammy to take a step back. "Please don't, they're not that bad and they're almost gone. I promise" She pleaded desperately to Lou.
Staring at the girl close to tears Lou nodded and gathered her in her arms. "If he lays another finger on you, you are coming home with me. Do you understand? I have an extra room you can use. Just please tell us next time so we can be there for you." Tightening her hold on the crying girl Lou looked over to Debbie who had a murderous look in her eye, she mouthed 'tell your parents.' Nodding Debbie walked to the two of them and kissed Tammy's head.
"Lets get ready for the day ok tam-tam." She told the girl and helped her walk to the adjacent bathroom leaving her alone in there to get ready. Walking back to the bed, Debbie sat and pulled her phone out. Hitting her speed dial the phone was picked up after the first ring.
"Hey Danny I need you, mom and dad to do a job for me. I can't get involved." Debbie spoke quietly in the phone explaining everything that was happening to her older brother. "Get nine and constance to help if you need it but it needs to be done cleanly and quickly." Smiling at something Danny said she hung up and looked at Lou nodding. "They'll plan something by tonight when they get home." Was all she could say before she paused seeing Tammy walking out of the bathroom making her gasp.
Turning to look at the younger girl, Lou gasped and smirked. "Well, hot damn. Don't you look beautiful babe, trying to impress someone? Or someones?" She amended.
Blushing at the looks she received and gathered her bag on the chair next to hers and threw her arm to towards the door. "Let's go shall we?" Tammy said as she started her way to the door only to stop dead in her tracks. "Shit! My father doesn't know you two are here. How are you going to get out without being seen?" She asked the two girls with a worried frown.
Smiling at the younger blond Debbie pointed to the window. "We've climbed off higher buildings before. Luckily for us yours has a tree right outside it." Debbie joked, well half joked. They have climbed out of buildings before, but they never climbed out of a house before.
Nodding her head in thought Tammy suggested the back door to them since her father rarely went back there and his room was on the other side of the house. Lou looked at her with a mock hurt face grasping her chest dramatically, "Don't believe we could make it darling?"
Laughing at Lou's dramatics Tammy replied, "I do, I just don't want either of you to get hurt." Smiling at the softness in her voice, Lou said she appreciated the concern but they didn't want her to get in trouble if they were caught. Kissing Tammy on the lips Lou said goodbye and opened the widow to jump out. Watching her partner in everything jump out the window Debbie chuckled. "See you soon tam-tam. We'll be waiting for you at the stop sign to give you a ride." And with that Debbie kissed Tammy on the lips too and jumped out after Lou.
Touching her lips, Tammy smiled brightly as she gathered her bag and sown the stairs. 'Hopefully they wont find out about what I like to do in my free time, that'd be a hard one to explain.' She thought while she exited her house.
