The sun was red,
With a fiery gleen.
At sunset,
A girl was seen.
She seemed to glow,
With a pleasant sheen.And then, she disappeared.
I never saw her again,
Until that night.
A few years hence,
Below the light.
She seemed too dull,
No longer so bright.And then, she shattered.
I scurried for the pieces,
She seemed too far.
I put her back up,
But her scars did mar.
I saw her beautiful self,
Falling like a star.And then, she whispered.
"Goodbye"
