Weeks had passed after the drinking incident, and I had gotten a little bit better. I wasn't sad all the time and barely had time to focus on anything besides my job.

Today, we had a music show at around noon and SM Family Summer Concert in the night.

Staff had done a good job to make sure NCT and Mellifluous didn't cross paths for a while. The day the contract ended, SM released a breakup statement for the public.

"In regards to the relationship between Mark Lee from NCT and Eun Mi Jeon from Mellifluous, they have both decided to end their relationship in a respectful manner.

It was said that it was a mutual agreement, and they are both on good terms. They both wish each other personal happiness and success for their careers.

It had caused a lot of attention to be drawn to us, both good and bad.

"Are you going to be okay?" Nayoung asked me as she saw me out of it in the car.

"NCT 127 is going against us for the music show. They have promotions too right now." Aivy said.

I shrugged. After the breakup of the fake relationship, they noticed that I kept to myself more but didn't question it.

I think they caught on that something had actually happened between Mark and I. They didn't want to pry so they were waiting for me to tell them myself.

I wasn't sure if I was going to though.

When we arrived, other rookie idol groups were there. For this show, rookie idol groups stood behind the two nominees for the winner to be announced.

The MC were also idols.

The staff ushered us into doing everything to prepare for the show. Fans were heard backstage as they wait in the pit.

"You keep zoning out. Eun Mi, are you really okay?" Sohyun asked quietly as we waited in the dressing room.

She looked like she wanted to say more, but there were staff members around. I stood up from my seat before ushering her to follow me.

I took her to the snack area where other idols were and no staff members.

"I know you were with Mark that one time I knocked on the door in the morning. I heard you talking to him at night. I couldn't hear what, but I definitely heard two voices." Sohyun said in a hushed whisper.
