A Shitty School Year

The days passed quickly and the day of reckoning has finally come. The First Day of Scool. Damn, I hated life. I got up from my bed. Falling asleep had been difficult, and it felt like as soon as I fell asleep, my alarm went off. I turned off the alarm and then took a shower. After getting ready, I walked downstairs and started my car.

"Luna? Are you ready?" I asked through her door. A few seconds later she opened the door dressed in her new high school uniform.

"Yeah! Let's go!" She rushed down the stairs. I walked down after her. She was waiting by the door and once I got there, we headed for my car. During the short drive, Luna had talked my ear off. I quickly parked the car and we walked in. "Brother, I'm nervous..." She said as she walked in.

"There's nothing to be nervous about, Sis," I said. "It's not that different from junior high. Just a bigger building and more people."

"Are you sure?" She looked up at me.

I sighed. "Yes, I'm sure. What class are you in? I'll walk you there."

"Class 1-8." She said. We walked through the semi-empty halls together. The other kids gave me strange looks from walking with Luna.

"Luna, I'm gonna suggest this now. After today, we shouldn't walk together." I stated looking down.

"Why?" She asked.

"I have a bad rep around here. If you want to keep your friends then..."

"Alright... But if something happens, then please come to me for help." Luna said.

Luckily we arrived at her class. "I'll call you after school, good luck." I left and went to my class. I walked through several hallways and finally came to classroom 3-4. 

I walked in and took a seat in the far back corner. There were four other people in the room, and people were filing in now. I set my bag under my desk and looked out the window. Five minutes passed before the teacher came in. "This is going to be a long day..." I thought.

"Good morning students! I'm Mr Robin, and I'll be your teacher for the year. We'll go over rules and expectations after roll." The teacher had light green eyes and brown hair that was turning grey. He started listing off names. He said mine and I raised my hand. After he finished, Mr Robin sated the normal rules of no spellcasting during class, no casting against other students, and other things similar to that. He then proceeded to waste the rest of the class period by passing out textbooks and notebooks. Finally, the lunch bell rang. The majority of people immediately left. I grabbed the textbooks and shoved them into my bag.

Then I heard him.

"Mitch!" Alex squealed from behind me. "We're in the same class!" I turned to face them. Alex was basically in my face while Derek and Nikolas stood a little ways behind.

"I am aware, I heard the roll," I said stepping around them. "See ya when lunch ends." 

"Where do you think you're going? We're eating lunch together." Nik stated. Alex grabbed one of my wrists and Nik grabbed the other. Derek led the way to the rooftop. Everyone in the hallways stared at us. I kept my head lowered to the ground as they kidnapped me.

Once we were on the roof, they locked the doors. We walked to the benches and sat down. "The hell is wrong with you?" I finally asked.

"What do you mean? We're having lunch." Nik asked innocently.

"Don't do that again. I don't know how you haven't heard of my reputation as the school punching bag, but just leave me alone in school." I stalked away from them and left the roof. I tried walking out to my car to spend the lunch period. Sadly, some ass hole noticed me.
