Again? Seriously?

Several days passed and I kept meeting up with Victor. He wasn't as bad as I originally thought, but he was a huge flirt. I had told my parents that I was staying at a friends house for the next week, even though I was actually just sleeping in the park.

"You're a fast learner, you know," Victor said. It was 1 am on a Friday night. "Why are you considered Taboo if you have this kind of power?"

"This is a recent development, trust me. I also don't plan on using these powers. Once I can control them enough to stop almost burning places to the ground, I plan on suppressing them." I said honestly.

"What! That's such a waste. You could inspire so many of my new recruits to have faith in their powers." Victor said.

"If one wants to inspire faith in others, one must have faith in themself first," I said. "Or so I've heard. Anyways, after tonight, you don't have to hang out with me anymore. I know I've been a burden."

"Nah, it's been rather fun to hang out with you. You're really smart and have amazing insults." He thought about his last sentence. "That came out wrong."

"That it did. You should go home now." I said.

"What about you? I'm always the one leaving first. Why don't you go?" Victor asked.

"Alright," I shrugged. "I guess I'll see you around school." I walked out of the park and down the street. It felt like it was about to rain as I entered the abandoned warehouse. I knew it was a mistake.

Several guns were pointed at me and the door behind me shut. I quickly put my hands up in surrender. "Who the hell are you?" A husky voice asked.

"I was just leaving," I said. "Sorry for the bother."

"Hold on now, I recognize that cute face. Minus the bandana of course, but you're still cute." I recognized the woman as well. Her red hair and blue eyes looked familiar, but I couldn't remember where I've seen her before. "This must be luck." The woman smirked at me and I finally recognized her. Letting out a string of curses that would make a sailor blush, I backed away toward the door.

"Stop moving, kid." Said the same husky voice. The guy grabbed me from behind and pinned my arm behind my back. "What do you want to do with him, Miss?"

"Knock him out and bring him with us." The woman said, moments before a searing pain laced through my skull. Darkness took over.

~~~~~~~~~~Alex's POV~~~~~~~~~~
"Terra, please calm down. Mitch is a smart boy." Dad tried to comfort her. It had been three days since Mitch went missing. I got worried when he didn't return any of my texts and didn't come to school. His mom had just told us that he hadn't been coming home for the past week. He was a school, but I guess he wasn't going home.
"Do not tell me to calm down, Ivan," Terra warned. "Mitch hasn't been coming home for the past week. I cannot help but worry!"
"It's my fault..." Tanner, Mitch's dad, said. "I shouldn't have yelled at him..."
"It's not your fault sweetheart," Terra said. "We will get him back." While the grown-ups talked, I went back to the group of kids. Luna, the Twins, Christia, Nik, and Derek all sat on the floor in a circle.
"Luna, how are you feeling?" I asked.
"I've been better, but I feel like something is wrong. Brother had been acting weird ever since we got back from camp." She wiped away her tears. "He had been keeping his distance from everything, including objects."
