Long Way Home (Drew)

Day 2 out of 6

I slowly sneaked my way into dress room. Madeline slowly followed me with one bucket of ice water. Time to wake up Drew in a nice sort of cold way. Madeline took out her phone and started recording. I grabbed the bucket and whispered.

"Hi, I'm lily and Drew is going to be doing the ice bucket challenge. He was nominated by a lot of u guys and he nominates Beyoncé, Selfie C, and Skai Jackson. You have 24 hours good luck."

I slowly tilt the bucket on Drew's head, he suddenly wakes up and takes the bucket and pours it on me.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. it- ss ooo mmy ggggod it's so cccccolldddd."

"Pft you thought you were going to get me."

Madeline ends the recording and goes to get me a towel.

"Thank you so much Madeline. " I say as she hands me the towel.

"I already knew that was going to happen. Drew's a light sleeper." She says with a smirk.

I cover myself in the towel and Drew comes and hugs me tight.

"Nice nominees by the way."

"I thought of who you mostly tweet about so there you go."

"Are you shaking?" Drew asks with a laugh.

"Drew, we filled that bucket of water with ice and we left it in the freezer all night last night."

"And you were going to pour it on me?"

"Well guys do have more body heat than girls so I thought you would survive."

"Go take a warm shower I'll be down stairs making breakfast."

He slowly starts to leave the room and I say "drew," I call out "making cereal for 2 isn't making breakfast."

"It is when your 16."

"Hey lily, are you done with your sh- oh my god I uh-"

"Drew! Don't you know how to knock!"

There I was, in black underwear and a black bra, having Drew stare at me up and down.

"I uh- I I'm uh I don't- uh wow." Drew stammered.

"Drew get out."

"Activity of day 2: we are going swimming. ok bye."

I switched into my bathing suit and laughed to myself at drew's reaction. His cheeks got redder than they already were and I could see his little friend down there rising. That little dork.

10 minutes later, I'm downstairs eating cereal alone because Drew went to change his pants into swim trunks for the day.

"Okay you ready?" Drew said coming down the stairs.

"Yep."

"Did you finish eating?"

"Yep."

"Are you mad at me?"

"Yep."

"Uch I'm sorry. I thought you were done changing so I came into the room."

"You know I have a low self image of my self so why didn't you just leave when you saw me half dressed?"

"That's the thing. Your body is beautiful. So when I saw it I was distracted by you and I just couldn't stop looking. You put your self down to much to see that I like your body like this and I like you like this."

A tear streamed down my face.

"Hey hey hey don't cry. Don't cry. How about this. You can swim with one of my shirts on top of your bathing suit if it makes you feel more comfortable. Would you like that?"

"Mhmm" I just nodded because it was to hard to talk.

"Okay let me just get one of my shirts and I'll come back down. Okay?" he says as he kissed the top of my head.

He comes back downstairs with his favorite shirt.

"Here you go. It would look better on you anyway."

"So are you done eating?" he asked as I finished putting the shirt over my bathing suit.

"Ya."

"Okay then let's go."

He suddenly picks me up bridal style and is heading towards the pool. Oh no. He is not throwing me into the pool.

He tried to throwing me into the pool but I held on tight. He shrugged his shoulders and just jumped in the pool with me still holding tight. I slowly let go of him underwater and open my eyes. Drew comes and kisses me underwater and I kiss him back trying not to choke.

He points at him self and then does a heart with his hands and then points at me. I love you. I point at myself, make a heart with my hands, point at him and make a peace sign. I love you too.

Another day filled with excitement.

I don't want to leave.
