It's been a week since my talk with Leo . In this week I've been pretty sad, and sleeping a lot . I'm usually the one to get up early and like to get things done. But this week was different.

Leo apologized every time we saw each other around the house, which I appreciated , but it just didn't help. Corey on the other hand, he's really been there for me. He brought me soup when I wasn't feeling so good, and he made sure to get work when I was missing from school .

I heard the front door open . I put on my slippers and rushed downstairs.

My mum and Nick were standing at the front door with dinner in their hands . Pizza. Yummy .

"Hey , kiddo ." Nick says and flashes me a grin. I smile back in response and follow both of them into the kitchen.

"Can you set this on the table , sweetie?" My mum says holding out the pizza boxes . I nod my head and grab the food . I place each individual pizza box and set them on the table .

I heard running down the stairs and began to feel nervous.

"Hey dad." Leo says hugging Nick . "Miss smith ." He hugs my mum as well . He turns around and looks straight at me. I give him a small smile and take my seat at the table .

Leo sits next to me, and the adults sit across from us .

"How's school ?" Nick asks , grabbing a slice of pizza.

"Good." We both say in unison. Nick nods his head.

"And how about basketball, Leo?" My mum asks him. He finishes the last bite of his pizza before answering.

"Great, thank you . We actually have a game some time next week." He grins . I take a bite of my food and cross my legs . The rest of dinner was silent , like it usually was.

I get up from the table and throw away my pizza box . I begin to walk upstairs and Leo follows me into my room. He closes the door behind us .

"What do you want , Leo?" I ask sitting on my bed. He leans against the door and looks at me.

"I broke up with Winona ." He tells me, not breaking eye contact. He what? Was I hearing this right ?

You what? I ask, already knowing what I heard.

"I broke up with her. You heard me." He repeats himself. I try to hide my smile by biting my lip.

" I don't know what to say , Leo." I tell him truthfully. I've been wanting him to end things with her , but now that he has I'm kinda shocked .

"I have a question." He says and walks over to my desk , sitting down .

"What's up?" I ask.

" I uh ... " He scratches the back of his neck .
" I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me."

I blush at his question, and play with the ends of hair.

"But your dad and my mum . If they found out..." He looks sad,before suddenly smiling.

"We could just say we're going to the mall or something." He says . " you know, like bonding time." He adds on .

I look down . A date? I'm not even gonna lie ,this makes me really happy. But ... what about Corey? I know he likes me, and I think I like him. If I went on this date , it could ruin what I have with Corey . Then there's Leo. He was my first crush in this new town ,he's made me smile so much . He's also my soon to be step brother. Ugh .

Oh fuck it.

"I'd love to , Leo ." I say causing Leo's face to light up .

"I'll text you later, okay? We'll go tomorrow." He gets up and walks towards me.

"Okay." I smile back and look up at him . He kisses the top of my head before leaving my room .

My phone buzzes and I turn over pressing the home button .

>> I actually can't wait for tomorrow. Like I can't sleep.

I giggle softly at his message before replying.

>> me either ! Where are we going ?

>> aw I hate surprises:(

>> OH WELL I'm sure you'll love it

I shake my head and smile to myself. For some reason I was extremely excited.
