Isaiah's pov:
I felt his gaze on me as I looked out the small square that I call a window and tilted his head slightly "why do you keep looking outside?"
"Because I haven't been outside in 15 years." I looked over at him and he studied my face, the dark lines from the lack of sleep and my eyes, their dullness not really surprising.
"Oh....I-I'm sorry- I didn't know.." he said softly and looked down, avoiding my gaze as I looked at him.
I smiled "It's okay... you didn't know.." I said softly and stood, walking over the him to sit down.
He looked over at me as I sat down and offered a small smile, which I returned.
Elijah's Pov:
"I said- get. The. Hell. Out. Now." I snarled as Drew walked over to me.
I felt May stiffen beside me as Drew grinned and crouched so our noses where touching "Why should I Love?" He asked and I stiffened at the pet name.
SMACK!
He stumbled backwards and held his cheek and I snarled, putting my hand down.
"GET OUT! GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND GET OUT IF MY LIFE! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" I cried, hearing my voice breaking with tears.
Drew growled and glared at me "you're gonna *Fricking* regret that Elijah moon." He huffed and turned on his heel, walking out and slamming the door.
I trembled in fear and crumpled to the floor as he left, sobbing.
I felt May crouch beside me and start rubbing my back, whispering comforting things to me. Our roommate opened the door and looked around to see if Drew had left.
"Alright..he's gone.." he said softly and looked over at us.
"He might be gone. But I'm not." A familiar voice split the air, making me look up.
"J-Jake?!"
