Luke's POV
Walking to school, Ashton held his hand in mine and despite a few odd looks from certain people, neither of us cared. Neither of us were particularly worried about holding hands in school either because people were openly gay and no one really bothered them which obviously can't be said for all schools or all people but I guess we were just lucky.
"Calum is gonna be so excited to see us together." I stated whilst we walked, Ashton just laughed and nodded in agreement.
"Is Michael ok with this?" Ashton asked.
"I don't see why not." I answered.
"He just doesn't seem to like me and I'm a bit worried he'll disapprove and I know he's your friend so I don't want to get in the way." He sounded upset.
"Ash, he'll be fine. I know he's a little hard to read but trust me, he likes you because if he didn't then he wouldn't even bother to talk to you." I explained and Ashton seemed to visible relax.
"Well that's good, I was worried there." Ashton laughed slightly and I smiled.
"Come on, if we don't hurry we won't see Calum before lessons start." I said and started to tug Ashton to school quicker.
Ashton and I walked into school hand in hand and split to make go to our lockers before Ashton met me at mine so that we would meet Calum together. I was happy to tell Calum about us because I knew he'd be ecstatic, the only thing he'd have to think about now is 'x' because we still weren't sure if it was Ashton or not. I had yet to have the conversation with Ashton about it which I wasn't really looking forward to.
Thankfully, there wasn't a note in my locker this morning and I genuinely breathed out a sigh of relief because I didn't feel like dealing with them right now as I was with Ashton and I don't want to make assumptions on him being 'x' until I know for definite and so I kind of wanted to avoid the notes.
Ashton arrived at my locker only a few minutes later and I'd only just finished putting my stuff away before he greeted me. "Hey, Luke."
"Hey." I laughed because we saw each other like 2 minutes ago.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
Nodding, he took my hand in his and we made our way to Calum's locker to see if he was there and an excited smile made its way across my lips when Calum turned around to face us before his eyes locked on mine and Ashton's entwined hands.
"You're together?" Calum asked the second we were close enough to him.
When we nodded, Calum literally squealed and pulled me into a hug. I swear he's like a girl, I thought but laughed at him nonetheless because his reaction was funny.
"I'm so happy for you guys!" Calum stated before pulling away from me and then hugging Ashton who looked a little taken back but hugged him anyway. I smiled because my best friend and the boy I was dating were getting along and it was a very nice feeling. Now we had to tell Michael.
"When are you telling Michael?" Calum asked once he pulled back from Ashton.
Ashton answered for me, "We're thinking about doing it at lunch."
"Ok, sounds good." Calum said with a smile.
"You're really happy about this." I laughed.
"Of course I am, you're my best friend and you look happy so I'm happy."
"Well thanks, Cal." I hugged him once again before pulling away and taking Ashton's hand and then starting to walk down the corridor as I said goodbye to Calum.
Michael's reaction to our news was pretty casual, he didn't seemed fazed by us being together and seemed very calm but that may have been because I was comparing his reactions to Calum's, these were pretty different.
Ashton didn't seem to mind though, he was happy that Michael wasn't angry because he wanted to be friends with him since he didn't friends before me and he thought that being friends with Michael and Calum would help our relationship. It was cute how much he cared.
During lunch was also when I asked if Ashton could come to my house after school, he agreed to the idea straight away and seemed happy by it but he didn't know that I was going to ask him about the notes. I had a lot of them stored at home because I thought it was a little risky to keep them in my locker but I thought if he is 'x' then showing him I'd kept the notes would make him feel a little at ease somehow.
I did have to admit that I was nervous but I needed him to know that it was ok and that I really did like him too and he didn't have to feel scared about admitting the notes were from him, if they were of course.
At the end of the day, I didn't find any notes in my locker and I was confused but sort of happy because it made me think that that meant it was Ashton since he had no reason to leave me anymore notes. Well, I hoped that was the case because it'd make the conversation I was going to have with Ashton in less than half an hour a lot easier.
I just hoped the answer was yes.

A/N: This is absolutely rubbish, I'm sorry. I don't even know what the last part of the chapter was. Just had a crappy day and my writing is crappy with it but I don't want to rewrite it.
Anyway, I got tickets to PTV and SWS so at least something good happened today.
