Chapter2: The Nice Goat Lady

Toriel guided me through the ruins as we came across some puzzles, easy puzzles. We got across a spiked floor by following a precise path and so she continued to lead the way until we came across some sort of dummy.
She got aside and told you to stand in front of it.

Toriel: As a human in the underground, monsters may attack you. That is why I will show you a way out of those situations.

She spaced out for a second.

Toriel: Try talking to this dummy!

I looked at her, surprised.

Y/n: Talking to a dummy?

Toriel: Yes, don't worry my child, it won't hurt you.

She said with a smile.

Y/n: Alright...

I looked at the dummy.

Y/n:*mind*Let's try to make it look real...

Y/n: Hello, my name's Y/n, what's yours?

Dummy:.....*it's a dummy*

Y/n: Not very talkative huh? What about being friends?

Dummy: ......*still is a dummy*

Y/n: Damn, you're cold man...

Toriel: That was perfect, monsters all react differently to you so try various things with the monsters that you encounter!

Y/n: Alright...

Toriel: Let's keep going.

She leaded once again the way as I followed her.

Timeskip:

We were now in front of her house. She gave me a phone, that's really nice and she also gave me her number.
We entered the house as she guided me to a corridor on the right side of the house. She opened a door and it looked like a child's room.
A bed, some furnitures and some books, toys all around the place...

Y/n: Do you have a kid?

She tensed up, as if my question touched a nerve.

Toriel: I-I....I don't want to talk about it....

I looked at her face as I could feel sadness. Something must've happened to this kid....

Y/n: I-I'm sorry, I wasn't meaning to make you feel sad...

I looked at the ground, feeling kinda ashamed...

Toriel: Don't be, it's not your fault...

She smiled in a silly way.

Toriel: What do you prefer, butterscotch or cinnamon?

Y/n: I don't have a favorite...

Toriel: Then, both!

She started to leave to another room but stopped and looked at me.

Toriel: You can explore this room, it'll be yours. I'll call you when the pi- surprise is ready!

She ran to what I assumed was the kitchen.
I looked around the room and decided to try to take a quick nap.
You laid down and waited....
And waited....
Waited....
I'm not good at sleeping? That's one thing I should've remembered...
I sat on the bed and starred into space.

Timeskip again:

A nice smell came to my nose as I heard knocking on my door. I opened it and saw toriel smiling widely.

Toriel: It's ready!

And so we rushed at the dinning table as a pie was on it's center.

Y/n: Butterscotch and...

Toriel: Cinnamon pie....

Both: THIS SMELLS GOOD!!!

You both got an even slice and munched down on it. After just an instant, nothing was left of the two slices.

Y/n: That's soo gooood!!!

Toriel: Thank you my child!

Y/n: By the way, you keep calling me your child...Then I'll call you Mother!

Toriel: Mother? Hehehe... Then I can be your goat mom if you want!

She seemed kinda happy so I started to feel happy too.

Y/n: I can't remember a single thing from before I woke up and this yellow flower bed... Do you know anything?

Toriel seemed to tense up once again.

Toriel: You can't go back to the surface...

Y/n: Then I'll explore the underground...

She tensed up even more.

Toriel: I can't let y- wait a minute...

She looked like she was thinking about something.

Toriel: I forgot to do something, wait here please.

She ran away to the staircase leading somewhere....
I'm gonna follow her.
I ran at her and once I was near her, I slowed down and just walked.
This corridor really is long...
She stopped in here track.

Toriel: Don't follow me anymore...

She continued her way.
After some time, she stoped again.

Toriel: I'm doing this for your own good...

We continued to walk until we arrived at a door. She stoped in front of it and turned around, facing me.

Toriel: Please, just go upstairs...

I stayed.

Toriel: Please, I don't want to let you get killed....

I was now intrigued.

Toriel: If you go out, they...Asgore will kill you...like the other childs....

I continued to listen.

Toriel: 6 souls....human souls... That's what Asgore is looking for. And if you got outside this door, you would get killed!

Y/n: I'm sorry but.... I still have to explore this world, this is the only way to retrieve my memory...

Toriel: So you are like the others, you won't listen to me anyway, am I right?
Then prove me, Prove me that you are strong enough to survive!

Balls of fire appeared around her as she looked ready to fight but... I cannot hurt her...
