Chapter 25: A new life... soon to be troubled

After freeing the monsters from the underground and sealing Chara inside the mountain, two months passed.

The monsters wanted to have someone to introduce them to the humans so I served that role. Humans and monsters where getting along pretty well, even if sometimes, there were little issues, but nothing we couldn't manage. For now, we managed to get a house, big enough for all of us to fit in and everyone got acclimated to the surface pretty well. It was a two floor house, with many rooms so that everyone had a place to sleep, there was a nice living room where we spend most of our time in this new home.

Most of the days went by quickly and after some time, everyone had found a daily occupation, a job or a hobby, one that they wished to do.
Toriel and Alphys were teachers, Undyne got a job at a police station, Mettaton was running his show, Asgore decided to be a gardener..... The list goes on and on but as time was flying by, I started to feel something weird. Not really paying attention to it first, I was not worried by it. But after weeks, I still felt that unease in the air.

So here I am, two months after escaping the underground, not sure what to do.

Right now, I was in my room, laying on my back on the ground, thinking about that weird sensation I was feeling. It was the middle of the day and most of the monsters were outside doing the stuff they usually do.
The door to my room opened, I looked toward the door frame to see Sans, standing there with his usual smile.

Y/n: Heyya Sans

Sans:Heyya champ

I sat up and looked at him.

Y/n: You need something?

Sans: No, I was just wondering...

He paused, probably thinking about puns.

Sans: Is something troubling you?

I was surprised, not expecting that, I stayed silent for a bit.

Y/n: Why are you asking me that?

Sans: You just look out of it, something's on your mind?

Y/n: Well.....It's nothing but I've had a weird feeling for some times, but I can't brush it off...

He pondered while looking around for some reason.

Sans: Maybe it's nothing.....

I looked at him, confused.

Y/n: Maybe?

He looked back at me.

Sans: Yeah, I mean, you've fused with six other human souls, Maybe they're trying to communicate.

He chuckled.

Y/n: Let's say they are trying to communicate.....why now? Why not when I absorbed them?

He shrugged as I sighed.

Sans: Dunno, but if you feel like something bad's gonna happen, just tell me.

I was even more confused since nothing was wrong here, everything was going smoothly and there's no chance that the demon from two months ago breaks the barrier.

Y/n: Ok.

He walked toward the closet.

Sans: Going to the mall.

Y/n: Shortcut?

Sans: Yup.

He went in the closet and by some magic he disapeared.

Y/n: There's no chance she comes back....

I got up and walked in the living room.
I sat on the couch but immediately recieved a call.
I picked up the phone, it was Toriel.

Toriel: Hello?

Y/n: Heyya Toriel

Toriel: Good evening my child

Y/n: How are you doing?

Toriel: I'm fine but I need your help, could you come in the school soon?

Y/n: Ok, I'll be there in a bit

Toriel: Thank you, see you there

I got up and walked out of the house, closing the door, I went to the school where Toriel was teaching.

I opened the schools entrance doors and walked inside of it. There was a long corridor with many doors and in front of one of them, there was Toriel, looking around.

Y/n: What is it?

Toriel looked at me, smiling.

Toriel: Oh, well, right now I'm teaching the underground history, so I wanted you to be there to explain some of the things for them.

Y/n: Oh....I mean....Why not

I chuckled as she opened the door. We went inside the class and waited a bit for the childrens to come in.

Timeskip after class:

After helping Toriel and being confused by some of the kids questions but answering anyway, I got back home, and no one was here.

Unfortunately, I couldn't relax because that feeling was back but stronger, it made me sick. Since I had time and wanted to relax, I decided to take a walk toward the mountain.

I left a note saying that I'll be back later and got on my way.

The path that I take to the mountain has a lot of trees, it's a forest. It always feels nice and relaxing walking there.
After some time, the mountain came into view.

But nothing prepared me for what happened next

Aight, it's a bit short but it's for the plot. This '2nd seasons' will be shorter than the first one because......it would reveal the plot to say why so let's just say reasons.
