[yoongi's pov; apartment no. 193; monday]

"...how about friday, 10 p.m. sharp by the 7/11 in dongho-ro?"

i just.

i...

just did that.

"so, did you do it?" jungkook's voice came out of nowhere, as if it was coming from a lucid dream.

"well... yeah?" i answered, coughing and scratching the back of my neck, as jungkook sat beside me on the maroon sofa.

he looked at me, raising an eyebrow. a sign of wanting elaboration.

"fine..." i sighed out, "i asked to meet up on friday night..." i explained, scratching my chin.

"f-friday night?" jungkook asked in surprise, as if my answer was something he didn't expect.

"yeah, i'm stupid right? how can i mentally get ready to meet that early i-"

"no, it's not that. didn't tae tell you anything yet?" he interrupted, biting into his bottom lip in a childlike manner.

i looked at my brown-haired buddy with a squinting expression.

"tell me what?" i asked, crossing my arms over my chest, feeling betrayed yet again.

these weasels probably hide so much from me.

jungkook exhaled, as if he didn't want to tell me.

"well... this friday taehyung, along with other people, is organizing a huge party" he started explaining, "it's a high-class one, and i heard that many famous people are invited, too" jungkook continued.

"but... what do we have to do with this exactly?" i asked, still confused about the situation.

"since we're tae's employees, we're the ones that'll do our regular job. pour drinks, take snack orders, and such" he answered, earning a huff from me, "but he said we can chill during the party when the time comes".

"good luck on the dance floor with tae" i scoffed in a friendly way, feeling bitter as i thought about the event more thoroughly. "when and where's it gonna be held anyways?" i mumbled the question, as the enthusiasm of my voice completely degraded to zero.

not only is my planning gonna get messed up but i'll have to be around so many people. most of whom are gonna be old rich hetero assholes.

tragic.

"we gotta be at the shilla hotel at 7 p.m., which is one hour before the actual party starts" jungkook explained, showing one finger, as he said 'one hour', which made me crack smile, as i nodded to his explanation.

he's such a child.

"anyways, now that that's out the door" he huffed, standing up from the sofa and stretching his arms, "let's go and get some sleep. we've got work tomorrow".

i threw my head back out of tiredness, as yet another heavy sigh left my throat.

"you're right, i'll go in a minute" i said calmly, closing my eyes.

jungkook probably left the room because all i could hear now was my own breathing and the clock on the wall ticking, and ticking, and ticking.

i opened my eyes, leaning my head forward lazily, as my hand slid into my pocket.
