An island...wait can you call that and island? It's more like a glacier, I think. Just know, it's a big ice mountainin the middle of nowhere. Sol could still hear the commanding voice that lead him to that place. But if it wasn't for Phoenix, he wouldn't have a choise but following it. She kept him tied to reality. And for that he was thankfull. They were making their way around the weird looking island. Slowly, the sky filled with dragons. But that wasn't all, armed ships littered the ocean; traps and armed humans filled the ground and last but not least, two behemoth sized dragon fought in the shallow waters. That must be it... One of them must be controlling them!
"Are you seeing this, Sol? Those dragons, they must be like the dragon from Hiccup's story!" Phoenix said bewildered. But it didn't last long. Both dragon and rider noticed the chaos around them. It was unbearable. Suddenly, Phoenix spotted a group of familliar looking dragons.
"Sol, oh my gods!" The dragon gave a questioning croon.
"Look! Isn't that... a Sand Wraith?!" She sounded excited. And that's when Sol saw it too. Multiple Sand Wraiths who flew like one, attacking the snow white behemoth sized dragon. In front of that behemoth was an owl like dragon and on its back was a human. The person seemed like he or she was guiding the giant. The Valor of Sand Wraiths deliverd attack after attack to the white giant, while the darker behemoth tried to impale it with its tusks.
"We have to do something, Sol. They might be controlled like you were. I'm not sure what will be the right thing to do here, but they might kill someone." With that said Sol rushed in between the giants, trying to gain the attention of his old Valor. The unkown dragon rider saw the arriving and watched them closely, but Sol and Phoenix were too distracted to notice. All they wanted was to gain the attention of the Valor, and that's what they got. But not in a good way. All fire was aimed at them. That confirms it, they were being controlled. Sol expertly dodged the first few, and that's when everyting slowed down for him. He wasn't able to doge the last one. It hit him and his rider. They lost balance, and Phoenix fell off. Feeling no weight on his back concerned him. He look around him franticallly. There she was, falling, while unconsious. That must have been a hard hit. Adrenaline started pumping through his whole body. His family hurt his rider. Yes, it wasn't their fault. That commanding voice must have gotten the best of them. But this had to stop.
"STOP!" He roared loudly, before he dove down to catch Phoenix. The roar was nothing he had heard before from himself. It kind of scared him.The owl like dragon rider looked at what happended before her. The Sand Wraith who had been with a human was diving to catch her, while the others hovered in the air. They stopped attacking? The unknow rider watched as the Valor all started to shake their heads, like trying to get rid off something. That something being the alpha's control. They looked around, confusion written on all of their faces. One saw the Sand Wraith who had been with the rider, and went after it. In no-time they all followed him. She had no time for questions though, the alpha had been without assistance for long enough. But if she were to see the Sand Wraith and the rider again, she wouldn't hesitate to ask her what she was doing here. And more important, if she's a threat. But going back to assisting the King was proven to be useless. There they stood... the dark Bewilderbeast's tusk stuck in his stomach. It's to late... The King slowly fell, being unable to support himself. Drago had successfuly been able to gain control over most of the dragons. Well... all but the baby's, ofcourse.
Sol was relieved, but in a lot off pain. He had caught his rider and wraped her tightly in his paws and wings, but in the process crashlanded on the unknown island. He spotted his Valor who all landed around him. The men around them seemed to be retreating. The Valor looked happy and relieved, but Sol was cautious. They could still be under his command. He warned them to not come any closer, he growled in defence. They understood, but didn't leave, creating a protective barrier around them. Sol might not have noticed, but they did. He was their new leader. An alpha of a different kind. The Bewilderbeast might have been able to control them, but one of their own, that could overpower anyone. He proved it with his actions, now it was their time to protect him and the human that seemed important to him.
The white Bewilderbeast had fallen. Nothing was there to stop the madman named Drago Bludvist. He had his alpha contron the offspring of lightning and death itself. Hiccup tried to stop him while he was stalking closer. His eyes slitted and bared teeth. He was building up a plasma blast. Stoick saw this and ran to his son for protection.
"DAD, NO!" Was the last thing Stoick heard before he was hit. He jumped infront of Hiccup to save him from his own dragon.
"Stoick!" The wife and rider of the owl like dragon yelled. Her husband had just gotten hit, just after they got reunited by their son. She got closer to them and neeled next to her husband's body. She pressed her ear agains his chest in hope of hearing a hearbeat. But it was silent. She looked at her son with tear filled eyes. At that he started to tear up to. A sudden rage filled Hiccup's body as he looked at the dragon who had gotten closer to them.
"No! Get away from him!" That hurt Toothless. He had never heard his rider, his friend, his brother, yell at him. He crooned sadly, his face full of regret. He dared to look at Hiccup one more time, but all he saw was disappointment and sadness. He turned around and tried to fly away, but being unable to fly without a rider proved to be difficult.
"It wasn't him, you know?" Valka, Stoick's wife said with a sigh.
"I know..." He answered. He felt bad for the dragon and looked around for him. There he was, with Drago.
"Oh no! Toothless!" The dragon must have been in controll again. He would never let a monster like that get away on his back like that. But there was nothing Hiccup could do as Toothless flew off with Drago and the alpha.. . .
