Nozel was skeptical the entire time about taking me to the Royal Capital. "I mean, seriously, we should at least get a leash. She's going in there and she's lost,"

"Aww...thank you for worrying about me," I teased making him stiffen.

"I'm not worried about you. I'm worried that we'll going to get in enough trouble with us being gone for three days, and bringing back a chaotic little girl,"

"How can I be chaotic? And I'm not a little girl for the 70th time," I snapped.

"Your existence cause chaos. And yes, you are a little girl," Nozel replied, and for the rest of the walk, we had another argument on my age.

He may have been right about me getting lost. The second we stepped foot in the town, I was dazzled.

"WOW!!! EVERYTHING SO BIG!!! SO MANY THINGS!!! SO MUCH FOOD!!!"

"Honestly, how much can you eat?" Fuegoleon asked, not a little shocked.

We were in a cafe and I was taking good care in stuffing myself with pastries and baguettes.

"Well, in the Stellar tribe, you eat based on how much you contribute. And since I was sort of at the bottom of the list, all I had was the leftovers, although sometimes Virgo will give me some of his share," I explained between mouthfuls. "Huh, you two not hungry?"

"I'm getting a heartburn just watching you and it's seriously ruining my appetite, so no thank you," Nozel muttered.

"You remind me of my big sister," Fuegoleon noted.

"You have siblings?" I snarfed.

"Awful annoying ones that get on my nerves," Nozel grumped.

"Huh," I munched, finishing the last of the biscuits. "Okay, let's go!". I bolted out the room. We walked along the busy streets. Fuegoleon and Nozel planned to take me to the castle to get settled for now. I heard some ruckus.

There was a little girl who was begging for food with a man. I slowed to check out what's happening. When the man refused, the girl swooped in and grabbed a loaf from his bag. The man reached out to strike the girl but I stepped in and stopped him mid-strike.

"You must know better, giving a little bit of your food won't be much of a hassle,". From the way I see him, he has plenty of coins to buy himself several more loaves. I glanced around. The girl seemed to have run away while I confronted this man. Nozel and Fuegoleon were also nowhere in sight.

"Silence dirty rotten fleabag, I am nobility from House Balimiton! Do not address me so casually! My magic can crush you like a bug," he released a cold aura.

I was taken aback by this. Yes, I'm not the most respected person around but...

"Dirty rotten fleabag?" I hissed, and saw my animus streak flash red."If you weren't looking me in the eye, I'd have thought you were describing yourself". That hit square. I guess nobility was used to intimidation and their aura alone will keep people at bay, cause one little insult and they can't keep their cool.

"How dare you!" he screamed and launched a boulder in my direction. Rock Magic? How many types of magic in the world are there? Still, real rocks are heavy and slow so I assume these rocks are like that too. I leaped aside.

The noble laughed. "Come fight me, peasant. Let's see if your strength is as pointy and sharp as your foolish tongue?"

My spear! Thanks for reminding me! I grabbed the silver spear out of the quiver and pointed it at him. He threw another rock and me and I nimbly dodged it. If my inferences are correct, this guy never trained to actually fight, thinking status is good enough. So he doesn't have much experience. The bad news is, neither do I.

I leaped forward and poked him near his rib. He screamed and I poked him again, taking good care to avoid his vital points. He threw more boulders at me and I jumped aside before coming to jab him again. This may not be magic but can cause quite a bit of pain, and I attacked rapidly and quickly.

The noble was growing desperate with each stab I landed on him. He now reached for the book on his belt. On the cover was a clover, kind of like the books on Nozel and Fuegoleon's waist. Something about the Clover Kingdom and books on belts. The book glowed as he opened it. I was distracted by the glowing book and my feet missed a step. I didn't feel it at first, then flamming pain exploded throughout my body. He had landed a blow on me. I could see his delight on finally hitting me, that smug grin on his snotty face. He launched another rock slide but the pain made me slower and I took another blow. I collapsed on the ground shaking. Another blast of rock was cast and I meekly rolled away, too slowly and another wave of pain rocked through me.

My head was starting to spin. Don't pass out. It'll make a fool out of yourself, and give that guy another gleeful moment.

The noble was smugly glancing down at me, battered and bruised. "Now who's dirty?" He smirked preparing to hit me again. Out of the corner of my rapidly fading vision, I noticed two kids watching me struggle.

"... the filthy always stays filthy," the older one said to the little girl. Then the two flew away on a magic carpet, leaving me helpless as ever, although the little girl did glance at me with pity.

A grubby hand seized my throat and began to tighten. "This is why you filthy commoners respect us nobles," he yelled to the frightened crowd. "We have enough mana to squish the life out of you," he smiled coldly digging his nails into my tender skin. "Allow me to demonstrate,"

He's going to kill me... I thought dimly. To frighten anyone from ever standing up to him again.

That was when the heat came in. It was unlike the noble's aura, more powerful and instead of a choking dust feeling, it felt like an exploding volcano. The harsh laughter from the noble turned into shrieks of fear. I felt his hand loosen on me and I faintly struggled to free myself, which made the noble to retighten his grip. The ground lurched horribly. A fireball was launched towards us and I caught a flash of silver as Nozel pulled me away from the blazing ball and wrapped a safe wall of silver around us. The last thing I saw before my vision blacked out was that Fuegoleon's fireball heading the noble straight on.
