monday

i walked into school, holding graysons hand, my head held high and i didn't care about what anyone would say.

but deep down i did, my heart was pounding and gray knew that.

"hey, everything's gonna be ok." he assured me and kissed the top of my head.

"i know, but you've met her, not me." i whispered, keeping quiet.

"look, if i can control my thirst, you can control willow." he told me.

i nodded, "yeah. you're right." the bell rung, making me jump, "i'll see you at lunch."

he smiled and walked down the hallway as i ran up the stairs. history, my favourite subject.

i sat down and looked to my left as i heard my name called, "alison!" he exclaimed.

"oh. it's you." i sighed, "hey, ethan."

"look, i know you're dating my brother but we can be friends right?" he asked, "or will your brother be too mad?"

i rolled my eyes, "he doesn't tell me what to do. maybe if you weren't so...so..."

"me?" he finished.

"yeah! if you wouldn't mind, i'd like to concentrate." i smirked and starting writing in my notebook.

about half way through the lesson, i could hear someone walking outside the classroom, a student and the principal. at first, i thought it was grayson because they smelled incredible! but it wasn't him, the smell was too harsh yet so soothing, so calming.

so recognisable.

they knocked then walked inside.

"sorry to interrupt, mr smith; but i have a new student for you." he stated.

"that's perfectly alright; what's your name?" mr smith asked.

"chris, sir. chris watson." he answered and sat in the empty chair in front of me.

smirking at me before he sat down. i raised an eyebrow, then attempted to focus again. i had to ignore the smell, i had grayson and i'm loyal.

"hey, can i borrow a pen?" chris asked as he turned to face me.

"yeah, sure." i smiled and handed him one.

he winked, "thanks, sweet."

ten minutes passed and he passed me note which said 'wait outside'. no context or anything!

i was really in trouble.

"and that's the truman doctrin and the marshall plan! next lesson, we'll be looking more at NATO and the warsaw pact!" mr smith finished and we were dismissed to go to second period.
