Let me tell you a story. A story of love and lust. Of peace and war. Life and death. 200 years ago in the small island of Mantoa there was an invasion of humans, Americans to be more precise, that left the mages of this island in poverty and pain. But not all hope is lost as the king of the dragons prophesized that there will be a small band of rebels that will save the magelands lead by the middle daughter of a Ying Yang Lover. Let me tell you the story of the pack. Let me tell you the story of Timber Wolf Winter.

The young mage stood on the table in the crowded tavern. The scent of ale and whiskey radiated off of her as she looked at the mages that had come to hear her speech. A thing to know is Timber was a very well known mage who was always telling the mages about how they can take down the empire and be a free island once more.

"Why do we let them take our land, slaughter our people and blame us for their fuck ups?" She started as she took a deep breath, even after all the times she did her speeches she was always nervous before she really started, "We can get the jump on them and we could win. We may be out numbered but it never stopped us before. This is our land. This is our home. With all of the magelands fighting at our side we have a chance to win, a chance to be free once again. We finally have a chance to prove that we are a force and if you fuck with us, you just made one Hellia of an enemy who are going to put you in the ground."

The crowds nodded and cheered, they spoke among themselves and said some things about the humans that I won't repeat.

Three nineteen year old males got up on the table with her. They were her friends and powerful mages, apart from Lance. Lance was human but because his parents had died on their side of the border and Lorence's mum found him and raised him as a mage no one had a problem with him being in the magelands or acting mage. He got away with a lot.

"FOR THE REVOLUTION!" The group on the table yelled and raised a glass. They had smiles plastered on their faces.

"FOR THE REVOLUTION!" The people in the tavern yelled back, raising their glasses before chugging the beer or ale they had. They were celebrating her and the plan that would start this revolution.

"Oh dear gods, your going to get shot soon and now I can't help you. You need to be careful," he told them in a hushed voice. That was Thomas Bunt, the old mage prince who lost his crown when the humans took over. He and his fiance went into hiding and we're being protected by the pack. He was scard of his own shadow and didn't want anything to happen to his friends.

"We'll be fine Princey. Come up and join us, it'll be fine," Timber said as she offered him her hand. She knew that he wouldn't take her up on her offer but she was used to it, she know how scard to do anything that could get him killed.

"I don't think that's a good idea. You know this could get you and everyone who agrees with you shot. Do you even think of what will happen after this or when you get caught?" He questioned the young mage. He acted like a dad at times and that annoyed everyone.

"I'm sure we'll be fine Field Mouse and even if we aren't, we'll just do what we always do. Fight until one of us die," she told him with a smirk. That smirk was a well known smirk, it meant she was going to do something or she knew something that they didn't, or that she was about to make a weird or funny remark about something.

"What is she planning?" Lance asked Lorence. He stood next to Hercules and Lorence but closer to Lorence.

Then a small girl ran in. She was out of breath and fear was promante in her eyes as her eye markings had turned to white, the colour of fear. "T-they're here. The tax collected and his men are here. Oh gods I hope your plan will work Timber Wolf."

"When have my plans not worked?" She asked with her signature smirk, knowing someone will pull out the failure list, by someone she knew it would be Hercules because he had done that several times in the past.
