Outside was cold and covered in snow from the winter months.
"Now what?"
"We climb."
"We what?"
"Climb."
She took two arrows from her backpack and gave him two. Alex started to climb up the wall and she made it look easy. Philip followed but failed many times before managing to get through a window. They were met by two started girls.
"What the fuck?" The royal looking one said.
"Queen Resheda, it'll be fine. That's Philip and Alex Hantrol friends of Timber Wolf."
"You know Timber?" Alex asked her.
"Yes, she's a friend."
"Explanation please?" Both Resheda and Philip said in unison.
"It's part of her plan, get captured and end the war here," Alex told them.
"End the war how?" Rayla asked.
"Kill the king."
"That's treason, she can get killed for that."
"She isn't the only one to kill the king."
"Need any help? John is trying to take Moonfall for his empire and I will not stand for it," Resheda told them.
"The more the deadlier," Alex told her.
"Is this really a good idea?" Philip asked Alex as Rayla asked Resheda.
"Yes, it's a perfect idea," they responded.
"This is crazy and will get us all killed," the worried of the four told them.
"I'm crazy too and I know it can get us killed. Freedom is worth fighting and dieing for," the girls told them, confidence in their voice.
"I hope your right about this."
"I know I am."
The pairs turned to look at each other.
"We're joining you."
"That's perfect. We need to get to the dungeon and free the others. That buys Timber some time," Alex smiled.
"Lets go."
The Moonfallian queen looked at Rayla.
"Just in case we die." She kissed her. Ray and Red had been dating for a while secretly, so secretly that now only four knew.
"Rayda," she whispered to her older brother.
"What,"
"Rayda, their ship name," she whispered back.
"Come on, we have a war to win," Red smiled.
Alex lead the way. She got them to the dungeon no problem, they thought it was just the queen wanting to see the mages.
Philip unlocked the door and unchained everyone.
"We don't have much time, everyone out," Philip told them in a hushed voice.
"What are you doing here?" Coraline asked him.
"This was part of Kriss's plan," he told her.
Everyone spilled out the cell.
"What now?" Lilac asked.
"We buy Timber some time," Alex told them, giving them a weapon each.
"You don't mean-" Philip started.
"We fight," Lance finished.
"Ready?" Alex asked.
"Doesn't matter does it?" Lorence asked.
"Nope," she said as she shot her gun.
Guards surrounded them, weapons drawn. The pack looked to each other and smiled.
"See ya in Hell," Alex said as she drew her sword and slashed at the guards.
The rest if the pack followed her lead and started to cut down the numbers of guards. The pack had deep wounds from slashes and gun shots. They were covered in blood from head to toe and the floors were littered with the dead.
Timber went down to the dungeon and saw the battle.
"You didn't invite me to the party?"
"We gave you an invite," Coraline smiled and threw her a sword.
"I must have lost it," she replied, cutting down the guards.
It was a quick fight, magic really helped and so did Flames.
"Flames, get them out of here and to the magelands. I have some business to attend to," she ordered.
The great dragon nodded. "Everyone on my back."
They did as he said and climbed onto his back. He blew up a part of the wall and flew out.
She went to the King's chamber.
It was time to end this war.
