I won't put your the pain of the awkward family reunion. Honestly, I wish I never knew what happen but to make up for missing out That part of the story let me explain a part of the mage world to you.

As you may know from pictures of our young hero Kriss, she had slit eyes. That is a rare thing only found in human mage hybrids. Lilac and Olivia don't have slit eyes though. Slit eye is also really offensive in mage eyes.

Now I no longer feel bad about missing out a part of the story, no matter how awkward it was, I'll tell you more of it.

"Let me get this straight, you want me to take all of your arrests so you can kill the king and get humans out of the magelands," General Winter repeated, clearly confused.

"Yeah, pretty much. It'll make up for you leaving us for dead," Kriss told him.

"Timber, your just like your mother. She had crazy plans like this all the time," he sighed.

"Is this a good idea?" Lilac asked her.

"Probably," Kriss told her.

"Maybe," Lorence corrected.

"Kinda," Lance said.

"No," Herc sighed.

"Have some faith in me Herc. When have my pin not worked?" She asked him.

"I have a list of times," he told her.

"Timber, you made us climb through the window even though the sort was next to the wall we had to climb up," Liam told them.

"Fair point."

"When do we head to the palace?" The general asked.

"Sun up. For now we eat and then sleep," Kriss told them.

The friends dispersed and went all over the mansion, all but Coraline, Kriss and the general.

"Dad, I need to tell you something," Kriss said.

"What is it Wolfie?"

"I'm a lesbian and have a girlfriend," she said, smiling awkwardly.

"I already know your a lesbian, even as a young mage you showed you had feelings for girls," he sighed, "And who's the lucky girl?"

Coraline stepped forwards, "I am General Winter."

"Miss Skya, your dating Kriss?" He asked, surprise crept into his voice.

"Thanks for believing that I could get a respectable girlfriend who hasn't been to prison," Kriss sighed.

She kissed Kriss on the cheek, "No one through you could, let's be honest."

"You too Coraline?" Her eye markings went rainbow, she was gay and really, really is an emotion.

Mage's have more emotions than humans, weird ones from really to normal ones like anger. Don't ask me how they got them but it's to do with the disease.

"Why are your eye markings rainbow?" She asked.

"It means gay and really. Yes, really is an emotion, no don't ask because I don't know why."

Coraline looked at Vernal Winter. "Please, call me Coraline."

"Call me Gregory," he told her.

"I really didn't know you'd be so calm about this," Kriss admitted.

"I never really cared who you dated and I made it quite clear that dispite my human views, you girls wouldn't marry for any reason but love," he explained.

"Oh shit. I hate you a lot less for that," she told him.

"Thanks?"

"Kriss, that was rude," Coraline told her.

"It's better than I was from a day ago seeing him," she replied.

"Indeed it is."

I wouldn't bore you with what happened next nor will I disgust you with what happened that night with the couples. Again, I don't want to know all the shit I do about their lives but I have to know because I'm the Goddess of Books and it's my job to write everyone's story. Any who.......

They were in chains that could easily fall off and being marched into the palace. The minority of them were war criminals so it would pay a lot to give them to the king.

They went through the doors and were met by the many, many guards that protected the king.

"What is it that you come here for?" A voice echoed through the room.

"Your highness, I have found the reble tainted bloods who started the war," Greg says, voice more quiet than usual.

"How many if them?"

"9, 9 of them."

"You'll be rewarded handsomely for this."
