The forest of the nature dragon was decorated in red and purple orbs of light. There was a chatter coming from the few friends and family that she was close to. Kriss stood at the front and waited for Coraline to arrive. All where chattering and having fun, teasing each other and being nice.
"Think she ran?" Lance asked mockingly.
"Like Alfie would on your wedding day?" She responded sarcastically.
"That was a low blow but we all know he won't because he loves me enough to want us to have a child together."
"I'm not having kids for many reasons, not because Coral doesn't want to."
"Like the fact they'd probably be arrest in the first year of their life?" Herc chimmed.
"That is one reason actually. But there are many more."
Katey was pulling on the bottom of Arctic's dress. "Where is Aunty Coral?" She asked in her innocent voice.
"She'll be here soon, it'll take some time for her to get here. This is a mage wedding after all."
She gave a puzzled look. "A human wedding doesn't take as long? But how can they get ready and go threw the pre-wedding rituals?"
"They are human, they don't use our rituals and aren't speacial like us," Lilac explained to her.
"Humans are weird," she said extreamly loud.
Most of the pack looked to one of the human pack members and laughed.
"I'm surprised it was Katey that said that and not Kriss," Lance laughed.
"But it wasn't. The 2 year old princess even knows your kind is weird," Herc laughed.
"She isn't wrong," Alice laughed, she saw some of the mage ways but always had seen humans as weird.
"Alice, this is your kind your talking about," Kathryn told her sister swiftly. She was still in favour for the humans as they are all she had ever known.
"But am I wrong?" She asked.
"No," the voice of Alex cut threw, "Humans are weird and fucking suck. Mages are the best, screw humans."
"Language," Alexander and Eliza reminded in unison.
"And humans don't suck," Alexander hissed.
"Says the man who fought with the mages against the humans," she taunted.
"Alex, that's enough. You know why your father did that," Eliza responded swiftly.
Then came the roar of the great dragon king and silence fell among the guests and bride. Coraline walked in, her ball gown was a bright purple and the cape she wore was a deep purple. It took all of her will power to not run up to Kriss and kiss her but she managed not to. Philip and Peggy were at either side of her and walked her down the forest path and they muttered among themselves until they finally reached Kriss. Coral stood close to her where as Peggy and Philip stood behind Coral.
"You look beautiful like always," Wolfie softly told her.
"You look breathtaking," Coral said in response.
Flames stood behind them and smiled at Timber. "She's proud of you, they all are," he whispered to her.
"Mum is always proud of me and I didn't even know that the others came. Both of my cousins or just one?"
"Both of them, they refused to miss it," he told her.
When they say them it means her dead family. Her aunt, uncle and cousins.
