"So how do we get out of this mess?" He asked her. She always had a plan even if it was just a quick, unthought out plan that was more likely to get them killed than her normal plans would.

"First we need our shit, then we can go anywhere with out someone figuring the others out," she told him as she looked at the house and was planing.

"Kriss remember the legends of the elemental dragons?"

"Remember it? Flames is like a cousin that wouldn't leave until my mum died so he didn't want to stick around.  Anyway, why do you care if I know about Flames?" It was clear that she was planing, she was making a thinking face and her eye markings went a pale blue, the coulor of thinking.

"Maybe we could find one of them in the human part of the magelands and save them. It would help with the revolution and our escape."

"You just want to see one, don't you?" She asked as her eye markings went back to red, she had a plan. I never said that it was a good plan but it's still a plan.

"And you don't?" He asked, surprised that she didn't share his exitment to see a dragon. Herc didn't know that she lived with the King Of The Dragons for the first year of her life.

"I lived with the Dragon King/The Elemntal Dragon Of Fire. Any who, we still need to get our shit from Tom Cat's house," she said as she headed towards the house.

"Yeah and we need to find one," Herc added as he jumped the fence.

"It would be easier to get around if we look human," she sighed as she climbed up the side of the building.

"We look human and go to a library to find the location of the dragons," he said as they climbed through the window.

"Nice of Tom Cat to leave the window open for us. Now we have to be quick," Kriss was grabbing her stuff and the pack's mage belonging as well as getting her human clothes.

They had gotten everything quickly and Kriss was finishing Hercules's eyeshadow when they heard soldiers, Alexander's men, entering the house. Kriss finished his eyeshadow and they were climbing out the window. They jumped the fence again and went back into the wheat field. Kriss saw movement in the room they were just in. Another close call. Close calls weren't the scariest thing for them, it was just a normal day for them it was more normal than someone playing on their phones in modern day.

Don't think I don't know what you guys do, I'm also 13. Now, put your phone's down and read a fucking book. Any who........

They trudged through the wheat fields for what seemed to be hours until they found a road that lead to the town that they had been in with Alexander and Eliza had taken them a few nights earlier. It was a long walk to the town and the library wasn't hard to find. It was filled with books but they couldn't find the one they needed.

"Take this," she said as she scanned the library for a librarian or someone that could help, "I have an idea so stay here."

"Your not telling me the plan are you?"

"Nope. Just do as I say," Kriss ordered as she headed over to the librarian.

"Excuse me," Kriss said, startling the poor man.

The librarian was a short, older man who needed glasses but he seemed like he lost them a lot, he had long, white hair that he tied up in a low ponytail. He placed the circular, large, black glasses on his face before looking back at the scarred, tall mage that was looming over him. She watched the coulor drain from his face momentarily before he calmed himself down.

"Is there something I can do for you?"

"I'm looking for a book on the location of the elemental dragons. Do you know where it is?" She asked him in an intimidating voice, she didn't mean to but if she saw someone was scared it was instinct to scare them more. That is the way she kept herself safe in the magelands when she was a young witch so that kept with her for her entire life.

"That book is only for people with permission from General Winton or General Winter."

"My officer has ordered me to get the book and he has permission."

"Who is your officer?"

"To-"She started but remebed soon that only the pack and his family knew Alexander as Tom Cat and it would give her away as a mage using his warrior name,"Alexander Hantrol."

"Right this way then sir," he said as he hurriedly made his way to the book. Kriss followed him. She knew what books wpuld look like and the kind of thing they would say because she watched them being written, well some of them some of them books were far older than her.

The self was located in another room in the library. It was filled with so many other books and even mage items. The man took a book from behind a dragon scale, to be more specific the fire scale of the fire elemental dragon and that scale could burst into flames if a mage activated it. She was now more on edge.

"Ah there it is," he said as he grabbed the book and handed it to her, "The only book on elemental dragons in the human empire."

"Wow. It's actually the only one in existence," she starred at it awe. She had seen this book before, her mother wrote it, but when her father left he took it along with some of her mother's other books and rare items which happened to be in that room.

"How do you know that?"

"Do you want to know a secret?" She paused looking at all the books and iteams, "I'm only half human. My mother wrote that book, most of the books on this shelf actually, and these were mine and my sister's things. When my mother died, my father left us for dead and took these with him." She still had her satchel and was putting books and items her satchel. "And I will be taking these as they are my, or my sisters', rightful belonging."

The poor man stood in front of her still holding the book. He was too scared to talk, all coulor drained from his face and he loosened his grip on the book. Kriss took the book out of his hand with out a problem and put it in her satchel.

"You won't be telling what I look like but you can tell them that you saw one of the assassins," she said while walking to the door.

"Who are you?" He questioned her while he was trembling.

Kriss turned to face the man, a smirk lay on her lips. "I'm Kriss, Krisstian Winter."
