[Saturday Morning, Outside Hisakawa Geshuku & Cafe]
Haru, dressed in a beige sweater and pink skirt, was waiting outside the cafe for the people from Shibuya Psychic Research. Today he doesn't have to worry about the cafe since it always closes on Saturdays, a day for reservations. Luckily, no one has reserved the place.
Just a few minutes went by and a black van followed by a white car drove around the corner.
The man watched as they parked on the side of the building and one by one the people of Shibuya Psychic Research came out of the vehicles.
He first saw two familiar faces, Shibuya and Mai-chan.
Following the two out from the black van was the driver, a tall man dressed in black. He seemed much older than the other two.
From the white car came out a couple who were bickering. The man had bleached hair while the woman's hair was a fiery red. You would assume they were married.
"Hello everyone! I'm glad you could all make it today," Haru said bowing. "Let's come inside first and meet everyone else. Please follow me."
[Meanwhile, Common Room]
"I wonder how many will show up," Kana said lying on the couch. This will be her first time meeting ghost hunters. It was kind of thrilling and romantic if you think about it. A young woman's house is haunted by an evil ghost but was luckily saved by a handsome ghost hunter.
"I don't know but I hope it's not just one person," Ami said. "I would feel safe if there were at least more than three people."
"Well Haru-san did say it was an organization. It's more likely that they'll bring more than one person," Eri spoke.
Kana sat up and glanced around the room. Satou-san was standing with arms crossed in front of the flat screen TV. Shu was sleeping on the couch across from her that she was on, and Lawyer-san sat with the twins on the other couch unoccupied.
It was already passed nine, Kana wonders if they have arrived already. She thought too soon as the ding of the elevator was heard, and all the tenants attention went to the elevator. Expecting to see her uncle and the ghost hunters, the elevator was empty.
Chills ran down her spine for some reason.
"Doesn't the elevator only work if someone pushes the button?" Eri said asking what Kana was wanted to ask.
Satou-san pushed up her glasses, "It does."
"It was probably nothing," stated Lawyer-san.
"Yes, like on Tuesday when your paperwork was in Haru's room instead of your suitcase," Shu mumbled.
Before Lawyer-san could retort at the younger man, footsteps and voices could be heard from the stairs that led down to the dining hall.
"Sorry about the elevator." It was Uncle Haru's voice. "It usually doesn't malfunction like that. But these stairs lead up to the common room of the house."
Uncle Haru's head popped up first followed by five unfamiliar ones.
Kana glanced at the younger girl first. Judging by her appearance, she looked around her age. The good looking lad was also probably around her age as well. The tall man with his fringes covering his eye kind of scares her. He looked very intimidating. Lastly were a man and a women, probably in their mid-twenties like Shu.
Just staring at them, Kana wonders how in the world did they ended up working together in the ghost field.
"Everyone, let's all get seated and we'll introduce ourselves," Uncle Haru said.
