Hi. I'm Cheyan Forrest, but you can just call me Chey. Well, that's what everyone else calls me, anyway. I never really introduced myself that way, but I guess it's stuck. I'm used to it. For those wondering, it's pronounced 'Shay', not 'CHAY'... If anyone calls me that, they will probably be walking home with a sore face and a red hand mark on their cheek.
Anyway, I'm 17, which means I'm old enough to go to college. I currently live in Arizona, USA, and I'm loving life so far. Another thing about me? Okay, if you insist. I have always wanted to live in LA, even though I'm happy where I live now, it's just been a dream of mine ever since I saw the glittery dresses worn by celebrities walking down the red carpet in magazines when I was about 9.
A slogan I live by is 'follow your dreams'. Cheesy, I know, but it's very true.. And I've decided to follow my dreams.
I've decided to pack my bags and start a life in LA. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I've been questioning myself several times on whether I should finalise my decision, and now, I've decided to just go for it. So, here I am - organising and packing. Preparing for a year in LA.
