~ 5 years later~

Sweat drips from my forehead as I hit the punching bag. Each hit harder than the last. Natasha stands not to far off watching me carefully, knowing all to well that if she interrupts me it won't be good. "What?"I ask while staying focused on the bag. "The others are coming in on a call figured you might want to join." "Thanks but no thanks. I don't need them telling me there is no hope."

"Blue..." "Don't start Natasha. I'm not giving up hope on him. I will get him and the other back even if I have to do it alone." I sigh as I stop hitting the bag and squirt water into my mouth. "He wouldn't want you to be like this. He wouldn't want you to remember him turning to dust."she tries to say. "Yeah well I do remember him turning to ash. I remember him calling out my name before completely fading away. I sat next to those ashes and watched the rest of my friends disappear."

She remains silent for a little while so I just sit on the training room bench. "Why do you think I'm having you help me train? I needed to get better at hand to hand, Bucky always worked on it with me and he's gone." She remains silent for a while for turning towards the door. "Well if you would like to join me then you are more than welcome too." "Alright I'll keep it in mind."

With that she leaves. I sit alone letting everything inside me begin to calm down. He's gone Blue get that through your head. Bucky is gone and not coming back. No I can't think that way. I will get him back, I'll get them all back. It might take years hell it might even kill me but I will get them back. "I heard you were in here beating the hell out of that punching bag." The sound of Steve's voice makes me jump and turn to him.

"What are you doin here?"I smile warmly as I get up and hug him. "I was in the neighborhood and thought I might swing by and say hi." "Well hello." He gives this half hearted chuckle before he hugs me again. "It's good to see you Blue." I nod my head against his chest as he just continues to hold me.

"Blue?" "Yeah?" "What's been going on? Nat tells me you have been training insanely hard, you hardly eat or sleep, and the only time she really every sees you is when she is training with you." I give a sigh and just let him go, returning to the bench I was once sitting on.

"You can't keep doing this Blue, you can't do this on your own."he says as he joins me. "Why can't I?" "It's too risky." I don't bother saying anything else as I continue to throw my towel and water bottle inside my bag. The tape on my hands begin to feel tight and irritating. It's probably because my currents are trying to turn up but I refuse to let them. "Okay, whatever you say Cap."and with that I stand making my way to the door.

"Guys you need to come in here and see this."Nat abruptly says as she enters the door way. I stumble back a little, annoyance riddling me down to the bone. I just want to leave, go back to my room, shower, and not sleep. Quickly spinning around to walk off I'm stopped by Steve. "Come on." He places a hand on the small of my back and ushers me into the other room.

I'm away I'm glad I was forced in here because the sight in front makes me drop my gym bag. "Hi, uhhh is anyone home? This is Scott Lang, we met a few years ago at the airport in Germany, I got really big." "Is this an old message?"Steve asks. "Ant-man, I know you know that." "It's the front door."Nat says in complete and utter shock.

Everything inside just stops. "No, no way this has to be old footage. This can't be real."my voice shakes forcing my hand to lips. "This is real." Without hesitation I sprint to the front door, swinging it wide open like a mad woman. "Blue?" I don't give him the chance to say anything else as I practically jump into his embrace.

"You're alive?!"he says into my shoulder. I quickly pull away, my fingers grip the fabric of his clothes on his shoulder. "Yes I'm alive!"I say excitedly, a small laugh slipping from my throat. "Where ummm the guy with the metal arm uhhhh Bucky? Weren't you two a thing?" I stop and fully pull away from him, my eyes dropping to the ground, silence consuming us. "He uhh, he didn't......"with a heavy sigh I say "he is no longer with us."

Scott's eyes meet mine as sadness fills them. "I'm so sorry." Once again he wraps his arms around me. "Scott?" The two of us separate to see Steve and Natasha standing in the door way. Scott's eye drift from mine to the others, "we have a lot to catch up on."
