~Blue's POV~

I practically play with my biscuits and gravy as we all patiently wait for him to arrive. God last time I saw this man he had a face full of dirt and was then absorbed into a mountainside. "Do you really think he can do this?"I ask Steve who looks just as concerned as I feel. "Have faith Blue."is all he says. HA! Yeah right, having faith is a load of bullshit.

If faith was a thing then this wouldn't have happened, we would have kicked Thanos's ass that day. Looking up it's almost like he can hear what's going on inside my head. I just shrug my shoulders and look out the window, my arms abrasively folded over my chest.

Loud thudding footsteps begin to make there way into the diner making everyone on edge for a moment until we see his face. "Hi everyone, long time no see."Dr.Banner says. Holy shit. My jaw just drops and hits the floor. "Something looks different about you."I smile. "Hey thanks you noticed."he smirks back before giving me a serious look. "How are you doing kiddo?" I don't say anything and just look down at my full plate. "I understand."

"So how did this happen?"Steve asks. "Well for years I have been treating the Hulk like he's some kind of disease, something to get rid of, but then I started looking at him as the cure." Honestly at this point I just start tuning out this part of the conversation. My mind just keeps wondering, trying to come up with ideas to figure this out. Maybe Banner really could figure out how to bring them back, I mean he figured this out why not that?

"Come on I feel like I'm the only one eating here. Try some of that, have some eggs."Banner tells Scott forcing me to come back from my thoughts. Tiny voices speak up asking for a photo with Hulk. "Want a picture with me? I'm Ant-Man."Scott suggest to the kids. I try hard not to spit my drink out with laughter. "Scott they don't know you, you have been gone for 5 years remember?" He just looks at me and exhales knowing I'm right. "Hulk out!"the kids chant before walking off.

"Awe how sweet." "Bruce."Steve interjects. "Dab!" "Bruce." "Listen to your mom, she knows better." Did this man just say listen to your mom? Steve finally just has enough, "about what we were saying." "Right. The whole time travel do-over? Uhhh guys, it's outside of my area of expertise." "Well you pulled this off."adds Nat, "I remember a time when that seemed pretty impossible too."

"Oh come on."I say as I smack my hand on the table, making the silverware rattle. "You're Bruce Banner and you're telling me you can't do this?!" "Now Blue just hear me out."he says. "No I'm done hearing people out. Every time I do it's just people giving up before they have even started and I'm sick of it."with that I don't say anything else. I grab my jacket and slide past Scott saying excuse me as I pass. The bell to the dinner jingles as I leave, officially beginning to feel as if giving up is the only option. I guess I'm not going to get my solider back.
