jonah sat around wasting his time. he had nothing to do and nowhere to be. the day had been a long one and the brunette was tired.
he pulled himself off on the couch and began to make the walk to his bedroom. as he passed through the main hall he gathered the mail he hadn't bothered to get earlier.
on the top sat a letter and that was weird. the only mail that jonah ever got was magazine subscriptions and bills. quickly he flipped it over to find no return address.
this was strange. who would send him something without a return address.
"zach?" jonah called out to check if his friend was home.
once he heard no response he walked down the hallway. the bills and magazine were left on the floor in a pile but not the letter. jonah held it close to chest not sure what to think of it.
he stopped outside zach's bedroom and knocked. no response. jonah creaked the wooden door from its frame and let it hang open. zach wasn't home.
with that in mind he continued back down the hall, this time with a more confident step. as soon as jonah stepped inside his bedroom he locked the door. he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
using a pair of scissors the back was popped open and the brunette unfolded the note inside.
blue eyes soon welled up with tears as he read the note. jonah couldn't stop himself, he reread it over and over again. he didn't even know that he was crying until a wet blob dotted the page.
that was all he needed to throw the letter across the room. the wrinkled paper slowly drifted to the floor as jonah stood up. he hated this, that he had made corbyn feel this way.
the worst part was the one part that was stuck in his head. he kept saying it hoping that maybe it would get better, that he would see it another way. it never did.
see you in another life.
god, what had corbyn done? the worst thoughts filled his mind as jonah regretted all of his decisions more and more.
he had to go see corbyn before it was too late. to tell his best friend that he felt the same way.
