I was 13 years old when we met. I remember like it was yesterday. I was folding my laundry and I saw that the house across from us was for sale. The people who lived there was a mean old couple. They never really like me and the boys so I went downstairs and called the boys.
Y) Sam!!! Harry!!! Tom!!!
I was older than the twins but younger than tom. Tom and I were always best friends.
H) what is it y/n?
Harry and Sam were playing mariokart while Tom was in the computer.
Y) the house next door is up for sale which means we get new neighbors!!!
T) finally!!!! I always hated the old couple.
S) I know right! They were nice to our parents but when it came to us they would always boss us around.
We always told our parents how mean they were but they never believed us
Y) I wonder who is going to live there now
T) I hope it's a couple with kids
S) I hope it's someone we know
Y) I hope it's a couple with a cute boy
The boys) ewwwwwww
I just rolled my eyes then mom called us up stairs. Paddy was in the living room playing with his cars. Sam and Harry were both 12, I was 13, tom was 14 by a few months, and paddy was 2.
S) hey mom what's up
N) well we are going to have some new neighbors
H) we already knew mom y/n told us just 10 minutes ago
We started to laugh
N) well we are going to invite them over to dinner when they move in
" i can't wait to find out who are neighbors are" I thought to myself.

2 weeks later*
The house was finally sold and the new neighbors were moving in. I was on my phone looking through Instagram when I saw the new neighbors. I saw two adults, one boy, and one girl. I quickly ran downstairs to tell the boys.
Y) Sam!!!! Harry!!!!! Tom!!!!
S) what is it y/n!!!??
Y) I saw the new neighbors
They all looked up at me.
T) well what did they look like?
Y) well there were two adults and two kids
H) what?!
Y) yeah one was a boy and the other a girl.
T) well I win. Give me your money Sam!
Y) wait did you guys bet who was coming?!
S) yeah I guessed it was someone we knew
T) I guessed it was a couple with kids
H) I was not involved
S) wait y/n did you recognized them?
Y) no
T) alright give me ten dollars
I just rolled my eyes. Boys I thought to myself. Sam handed ten dollars to Tom
T) woo!! I'm rich!!
He start to make it rain and we all joined in.
N) kids!!! Lunch is ready!!!!
We all ran upstairs like wild animals but to be fair sometimes we were.
N) ok so on Saturday we are having the new neighbors come over and I want you guys to be on your best behavior.
T) that might be hard mom
N) well at least try
S) ok we will try but no promises.
Saturday was in four days and I couldn't wait.
