I was worried about our kids knowing that their mum was alive, but also relieved to know that at least they wouldn't grow thinking that I would ever kill her.

I sat on my throne with Kiara sitting on my right while we had a meeting with the lords and warriors.

"Sire, what if the witches find out that the queen is alive?" Leonardo asked as he sat in his place on the table.

Both Kiara and I were at the head of the table, as our lords and warriors sat in their usual spots.

"They will not" Rosseta and Amelia walked into the room, they bowed down to us before taking their usual seats.

"Glad to see you're back my queen" Rosseta smiled and Kiara nodded.

"Rosseta and Amelia used a spell on me, no one can track me down even if they tried" Kiara said.

"For now business in the palace goes as it usually does, no changes. If anyone is to ask the king is still mourning over the loss of his wife and would like to see no one unless it is important" I said fiercely.

"What about the wolves or hybrids sire?" Johnathon asked.

"They are our most trusted allies Johnathon, you are forgetting that one of our lords is a hybrid" I said looking at Johnathon with disbelief.

"But sire he does have a point, aside from Lord Charlie and Bianca we have been betrayed by a hybrid once when he tried kidnapping Prince Andrea and Princess Mia, and Luke and Lia who have tried killing the queen" Nicco said honestly.

"I hate to say this sire, but Lord Johnathon is right, even we don't know who to trust of the other packs" Charlie said calmly.

"Send word to the packs that already know to keep quiet, even if they do speak they'll have no proof that I am alive" Kiara spoke confidently.

"Now we must focus on the matter we have in hand, some have gone rogue and are trying to break the peace we have and make the vampire kingdom" I said looking at the lords and warriors "we don't know their intentions, motives or who are in this matter, but we must take caution and start preparing for the war we're most likely going to have"

The lords and warriors nodded in agreement.

"Can't we question Prince William sire? If he was in the case earlier he might have a lead?" Lord Charlie asked.

"We could, but if he's being tracked or watched we'd have a disadvantage of letting whoever is watching know that we are preparing for battle" I answered.

"Their motive and intention were to get us destroy one another, they knew Prince Andrea and Princess Mia would come fight King Harry and that they were weaker and less experienced than their father no matter what powers they had, which would probably lead to their death and the want of revenge from Prince and Princess Rolan and Rebecca" Kiara spoke with strength and anger "therefor whoever was planning this had set a plan for a minimum of a few years before they made their final attack when the kingdom was at its weakest"

"Let them think we are at our weakest while we prepare silently" I said taking Kaira's hand from under the table, she squeezed my hand in assurance.

"Yes sire" everyone chanted before I dismissed them, Amelia enchanted the table and seats of the lords to disappear before walking out leaving both Kiara and I in the throne room.

"My queen" I smiled before getting up and standing in front of her and extending my hand for her to take.

Kiara smiled and took my hand before I pulled her to stand and kissed her neck gently.

"You my love need to train as well" I said looking into her eyes, I noticed a change in her eye color as her usual deep blue eyes were turning into a lighter shade of blue.

"Have you fed?" I asked and Kiara shook her head.

"Babe you need to" I said knowing that she didn't like the idea of having to drink blood.

"I just can't bring myself to" Kiara said honestly.

"Come with me" I said gently before walking out of the throne room and out of the palace.

I quickly lifted her bridal style and vampire sped her to the forest where I knew that wolves and foxes lived.

"You do know that I can run at your same pace" Kiara giggled once I put her down.

"I do, doesn't mean that I don't enjoy carrying you" I said and she shook her head while smiling.

I heard a sound and hid in the bush before indicating for Kiara to do the same.

"What are we doing?" Kiara asked.

"I'm going to show you something, then we're going for a hunt"
