THE COURT HEARING

KIM TAEHYUNG, together with his friends were walking themselves to the court room, surrounded by Jin's security men and the policemen.

Taehyung looked down. He didn't deserved any of this. This was just too much for him. He couldn't believe anything that his friends did for him. He's a criminal. An arsonist. A mental-ill person. Why would they helped him? He's nothing but trouble.

But after all, he realized that everything they did to him was pure love and friendship. Does he really deserved it?

As soon as they arrived at the court, they sat on the chairs as they waited for the other party which was Taehyung's father and his accomplice. The last time they attended the trial court, they were the first to arrive there too. They just couldn't risk to be late in a court hearing.

"Hyung, I think I'm gonna puke. Like what the-" Jimin cut Jungkook's words, facing him.

"Language," He warned him.

Jungkook closed his eyes and opened it again. "...f-fudge... But, hyung. I'm serious!" He whined softly, acting that he's going to puke any second.

Jimin waved. "Hi serious. I'm Jimin-" Jungkook interrupted by whining again as he nudged at him.

"Shut up! I am literally gonna puke. Oh my Gracious God! I am not used being in a trial court! M-my stomach is grumbling like crazy and it's making me puke any second now... I-I can't understand what I am feeling right now... I-I feel nauseous... I think I'm pregnant! Oh my! Help me!" He muttered continually, whining like a 5 year-old kid as he exaggerated at his last sentence, making Jimin slapped him. However, that slap wasn't that viciously hurtful so it didn't actually hurt Jungkook.

"What are you talking about? How can a guy be pregnant?" Jimin said as he hissed. He then looked at him with encouragement in his eyes. "Kookie, you're just nervous. If you badly need to puke, can you just hold your puke for how many hours? Don't do it here or else you'll gonna embarass yourself? We don't want that, do we? And to tell you frankly, you're not the only one who was not used going here," he explained, swallowing his saliva as he looked at Jungkook who was pursing his lips. "Anyway, we've done everything and we finally made it here. And we need to support Taehyung on his case. Remember the things Dr. Kim has done to him?" Jimin asked to the younger male.

Jungkook nodded, "Y-yeah... He's horrible. He did unforgiveable things to Taehyung and we simply cannot let it pass!" He replied, gritting his teeth as he imagined the things that Dr. Kim has done to his friend. He secretly imagined that he killed Dr. Kim in his mind, stabbing him like a crazy murderer using a sharp knife while laughing wickedly.

Jimin replied, looking at him soothingly as he showed him an encouraging smile, "Exactly! We need to win the case and we're here support it. Besides, Bighit are here too to support us, to support the case."

The male nodded again and drank his water bottle, wetting his mouth as he was trying to calm himself from trembling. He was obviously nervous.

Without waiting any longer, the other party arrived, revealing Dr. Kim and Ms. Song with handcuffs on both of their hands as they were surrounded by policemen. Other nurses of XXXX Mental Hospital was there too to be the witnesses of the other party while in Taehyung's party, Mr. Hsu, Kim Jihwan, RN Yoo Tae Ha (from XXXX Mental Hospital who agreed to be their witness during the hearing) and Dr. Jackson Wang will be their witnesses.

Mr. Kim, the Deputy District Attorney hired by Jin to defend them again, predicted that there was a 97% possibility that they'll win because, aside from the clear evidences, green marks on Taehyung's body can still be seen.  That prediction made Taehyung's party rejoiced.

Until a few minutes had passed, the trial then started as the Bailiff spoke in front of the court.

Each party did their best to fight the case but it's clear that the other party were losing. The prosecution then decided to call the witnesses of the accusers, Taehyung's party.

"The people call upon Mr. Hsu as the first witness," Mr. Kim said.

Mr. Hsu stood up and headed himself to the witness stand.  "Please stand and raise your right hand," The clerk commanded him then he immediately did what he was told as he raised his right hand. "Do you promise that the testimony you shall give in this case now before this court shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? So help you God," The clerk continued.

Mr. Hsu nodded without showing any hesitance. "Yes, I do," he answered.

And with that, the interrogation started. Deputy District Attorney Kim was the one who asked him.

"Mr. Hsu, since you were the private investigator, how did you discovered that the defendant has been doing illegal doings?" Mr. Kim asked instinctively.

"I went in the hospital acting like a mental-ill patient. Through my undercover mission, I bumped into one of the nurses there which happened to be RN Yoo Tae Ha. He said that the hospital has been doing a biennial experiment but he didn't say any further. So, I dig out more and I discovered that the hospital has been trying to make a new virus. And I also figured out that Kim Taehyung is their next test subject who happened to be the defendant's son," he explained thoroughly in detailed.

The public defender stood up. "Objection, your honour-" But the judge cut him.

"Silence!" He said then turned to Mr. Kim. "Please. Continue your words."

Mr. Kim nodded and hummed, looking to Mr. Hsu. "So through your undercover mission, did you also found out the purpose why they did it once in every two years?" He asked again, with a pang of authority on his voice.

Mr. Hsu replied again, "Serendipitously, yes. They have been trying to make a virus to sell it in the auction hall. They did it every two years to avoid any suspicions from the police. It's their sixth trial this year and they chose Taehyung to be their next test subject."

Hoseok accidentally nudged Jin who was sitting beside him. Jin looked at him and he saw him smiling like an idiot. "Why are you smiling like that?" He asked him, whispering softly so that he couldn't disturb the prosecution.

Hoseok looked at him, humming. "Oh, I was just happy. We are soooo gonna win this case. We finally get revenge from that heartless bastard!" He murmured enthusiastically, prolonging the word 'so' in his sentence.

Jin nodded and focused himself on the prosecution again.

Mr. Kim spoke, "Do you have any evidences that can prove your statements?" He asked once again.

"Yes," he paused as he revealed the confidential documents he has been carrying. "All of this are the results of my investigation. It contained the detailed explaination," he continued.

Mr. Kim turned his gaze to the judge. "Your honour, I would like to show this documents marked as defendant's exhibit number one and ask that they be admitted into evidence," He told the judge.

The judge asked, "Does the defense have any objection?"

Dr. Kim's attorney then replied. "No, Your honour."

The judge answered immediately, "The documents will be admitted as People's exhibit number one."

Mr. Kim thanked him then turned again to the witness. "Aside from this Mr. Hsu, did you also discovered where the previous test subjects whereabouts?"

Mr. Hsu nodded unhesitatingly. "Yes. I found them. 5 previous test subjects. Four of them are dead 'cause their body didn't survived from the experiment. And one is alive. That's Kim Jihwan," he answered.

Yoongi automatically looked at Dr. Kim. He clearly saw how annoyed Dr. Kim was as he gritted his teeth, fuming with pure annoyance and anger.

You dickheads!, Dr. Kim thought in his mind as he shoot daggers at Mr. Hsu, glaring at him intently.

Mr. Kim turned to the judge. "No further questions your honour," he said.

The judge nodded and pound his gavel with authority. "The witness is excused," he then announced.
