XXXX MENTAL HOSPITAL'S LABORATORY ROOM
"Doc, this is the drug you asked me to develop," the drug department head told the doctor as she hand over the Erlenmeyer flask containing a red liquid on it.
(Erlenmeyer Flask - a flat-bottomed colonical laboratory flask)
The doctor took it gently, trying not to spill the liquid inside it. "Why did it took so long to develop? I expected this last week," the doctor complained at her.
The drug department head bowed at him. "미안하다 과장님. The composition of the drug is very complicated that it cannot be done within a day. I also run several experimentations before I finished it."
(미안하다 과장님 - 'mianhada kwajang-nim' means 'I am sorry Chief)
The doctor replied a smile at her as he looked on the liquid inside the flask. "Dont worry. He's still behaving. We still have plenty of time," The doctor told her with a hint of evilness in his voice.
"네. I took some blood samples from our patients and used it to the drug. The newly developed drug quickly kills the WBC (White Blood Cells) causing it to stop producing antibodies that fight diseases," she paused. "As further experimentation, I also injected it to one of the patients here to test if the drug is effective or not. The patient's body quickly reacted to the drug. An adverse reaction. On the first day, the patient experienced sweating, hearing noises and severe bleeding. On the second day, the patient's body temperature and heart rate has increased. While on the third day, impulsive behavior and rapid shifts in emotion have surfaced. With these experimentation's results, it clearly shows that the drug is effective," the drug department head stated her long explaination.
(Antibodies or also known as immunoglobulin is a substance produced by white blood cells. It is also a large , Y-shaped protein that is used by the immune system to neutralize pathogens such as pathogenic bacteria and viruses. WBC or white blood cell is a clear or colorless cell in the blood produced and derived multipotent cells in the bone marrow that are involved in protecting the body against both infectious disease and foreign invaders.)
With pure satisfaction, the doctor smiled and placed the flask on the desk then faced her. "This patient you experimented, who is he?" He asked.
"The patient's name is Park Jisung, a 50 year-old man and a family-less person."
"Get rid of him," The doctor then ordered and the drug department head nodded.
"네 과장님."
(네 - 'ne' means 'yes'. 과장님 - 'kwajangnim' means 'chief')
This would be perfect, The doctor thought on his mind, smirking in nonchalance. I wonder... What would be your reaction?... Hmm? I bet it would be sweet... Kim Taehyung...

Kim Namjoon was seen wandering around on the street. He's heading into the dance studio, following his daily schedule. Then a young man accidentally bumped him.
"미안해 미안해..." the guy immediately apologized to him. He was wearing an all black outfit.
(Review: 미안해 or mianhae means sorry)
Namjoon widened his eyes as he recognized the voice. "Jackson? Jackson Wang?"
The guy looked at him, also widening his eyes. "Namjoon-ah?" He asked in disbelief.
"Yah! How did you-When did you arrive here in Korea?" Namjoon asked questioningly.
"Last night. I was heading to the mall to buy something..." he paused, looking closely to his step brother. "Woah! I never expected to bump you here. I'm sorry about that though."
Namjoon quickly shook his head. "아니 아니. I'm just shocked to see you here. I thought you were in China together with mom," he said.
(아니 - 'ani' means 'no')
The guy named Jackson smiled and placed his shoulder to Namjoon's as they walked on the road. "Our mom told me to visit Korea sometimes. And you too so yeah, I guess that brought me here," he replied.
Jackson Wang was Namjoon's stepbrother on the mother's side. As Namjoon's father passed away a long time ago, his mother remarried another man and that man was Jackson's father. Namjoon didnt took Jackson's surname because he wanted to preserve his own. It's very precious for him especially it came from his father and he doesnt want to erase it. And with that, his new family respected his decision.
Jackson and Namjoon were very close to each other. They even went to Stanford University and graduated as Magna Cumlaude though, Jackson graduated later than Namjoon as he took a medical course that exceeds for a very long time and unexpectedly, because of his intelligency, he was also one of genius scholars of infection in the mentioned school.
Namjoon's stepfather had a house in South Korea and wanted someone to take care of it because the caretaker already died. As soon as Namjoon knew about the situation, he immediately volunteered to live there and that's how he ended up being one of the citizens in South Korea, without his family around.
"Mind having a coffee with me? I have something to ask you... and I heard you're being one of the top surgeons in the country, hmm?" Namjoon stated.
"Sure! And yeah... what do you expect from your genius brother who graduated in Stanford University as a magna cumlaude with a medical-" Namjoon cut his words as he rolled his eyes.
"Now now... Let's not brag about it, 아라쎄?"
(Review: 나라쎄 or arasseo means alright or okay)
As soon as the two arrived on the coffee shop, the two ordered their coffees and sat on one of the tables inside the shop.
Jackson was sipping on his coffee. "So? What do you want to ask?" He questioned as soon as he realized that Namjoon has something to ask him.
Namjoon drank his coffee first before he spoke. "Have you heard... pyromania?"
Jackson suddenly looked at him intently. "네. A rare psychological illness mostly happens in men. 왜?"
(Review: 왜 or wae means why)
"I have a friend and he has a pyromania. He's been confined in XXXX Mental Hospital," Namjoon revealed.
Jackson leaned on his chair, raising one eyebrow. "And? Your problem?"
Namjoon sighed heavily and crossed his arms. "His doctor prohibited people to visit him."
"That's weird," Jackson quickly reacted. "Yes maybe pyromania is quite dangerous but it isn't that far to contaminant others like Ebola virus or any infectious diseases. Why would the doctor prohibited people to visit your friend?"
"That was I'm thinking. And that's why I asked you."
Jackson sipped his coffee one more time. "I'll visit this hospital. I think they are doing something wrong. I am sure of it."
Namjoon sighed then smiled. "Jackson, I'm so proud that you're my brother."
Jackson just gave smile in response.

In the middle of the night, Ms. Song - who was the drug department head - headed in room 21A where Taehyung was confined. She was bringing an empty syringe like she always did every midnight. Collecting Taehyung's blood.
As soon as she stepped inside the room, she found Taehyung sleeping quietly that seemed like he was dead.
Ms. Song smiled and went beside him. She stared at Taehyung for a couple seconds. "Poor thing. You've suffered enough..." She whispered under her breath.
She sighed before she started her work. She injected the injection to get Taehyung's blood. When the injection became filled with his blood, the doctor placed it on an empty serum-separating tube to store the blood serum.
She then went out from the room, keeping the blood on her pocket as she walked quietly, heading to the hospital's laboratory room.
Well, time to work...
