"THE JURY finds the defendant guilty!" The clerk announced as soon as the judge finished reading the jury's verdict.
The judge then pounded the gavel three times as he said the words, "The jury is thanked and excused. Court adjourned here!"
The police quickly reacted and brought Dr. Kim and Ms. Song to the exit way. Meanwhile, Taehyung's party rejoiced at the announcement. They knew this already but they just can't help but to feel joyous knowing the fact thy finally gave justice to all the people that they'd hurt, including Kim Taehyung and Kim Jihwan.
"WE WON! WE WON! WE WON!!!" Screamed Hoseok who was unexpectedly jumping along with Seokjin like they won something on a carnival. Jimin and Jungkook laughed, wearing big smiles that reached their eyes. Namjoon just gave a smile- no, a happy smile, showing his deep dimples. While Yoongi were just sitting on his seat, wearing a long face. No he wasn't unhappy or anything, he was just too sleepy and wished to take a long nap.
Taehyung, on the other hand, just gave a small smile and looked downward. He had mixed emotions. He didn't know what to feel. He was happy, yes, because finally he was freed from his father's grip. But, he also felt sadness. Dr. Kim was still his father after all. He felt bad, just how he felt when his mother became imprisoned. Eventhough, they were not his biological parents but they raised him. Eventhough, they beated him countless times, they even stole his money, and even kicked him out from HIS own house, he still love them. He hated them, that was right but the love was still greater and it pained him badly.
He felt a warm tear strolling down in his cheeks. He wiped it down before anyone caught him and smiled at his friends. He then saw Mr. Bang Sihyuk and the others walking towards them with happy smiles encrypted on their faces.
Bang Sihyuk surprisingly shook Taehyung's hand who flinched a little and gave an awkward smile. While his friends just gave a 45-degree bow.
"Congratulations on your successful hearing," said the C.E.O.
Taehyung stared at him one moment, trying to sink everything what he just said. "Thank you, sir. And also, thank you for supporting us in this case and for coming here in the court," he finally had a reply and bowed.
The C.E.O. patted his shoulder. "It's alright. Congratulations again," he paused as he faced his boys who was patiently listening to the two of them. "Congratulations on you too. Anyway, we must be going. 안녕!" He said, bidding his goodbyes.
The boys gave a final bow as their elders went home already. Prosecutor Kim or Mr. Kim went towards them and gave his greetings. "Congratulations! We won!" Said he.
"No. We are the ones who should congratulate you 'cause you defended us two times consecutively and we won both times. Thank you, Mr. Kim!" Namjoon said, thanking him wholeheartedly as he shook Mr. Kim's hand.
"Uh-huh! He's right~" Hoseok sing-sung, putting his arms accross Namjoon's as he showed his famous tantalizing sunshine smile.
Mr. Kim let out a small chuckle. "Anyway, I must be going too. I need to wet my throat," he said as he slowly massaged his neck where his throat was located to show them what he meant.
"Why don't you join us? We're gonna celebrate and you-" Mr. Kim interrupted Jin.
"Ah no, no, no. Don't bother, please. It's my daughter's birthday today and I promised to take her in the amusement park," Mr. Kim quickly declined and showed an apologetic look to the seven young males.
Jin was left with no choice but to agree. He nodded in response. "Oh. That's... That's too bad," he paused disappointedly. He then smiled at him. "Well, send our greetings to your daughter. We wish her a happy and healthy life!" He continued enthusiastically.
Yoongi, who was crossing his arms in silence, finally broke his own muteness as he spoke. "Yeah. Have a great day Mr. Kim and thanks again for the successful hearing. We couldn't have done it without you," he said thoroughly which made everyone around him agreed at his statement.
"Ah. Don't mention it. I am forever in debt of gratitude to Mr. Seokjin that this is the least that I can do for him," he paused as he showed a meaningful smile. Everyone just nodded slowly in realization.
"Anyway, I really should go. My daughter must be waiting for me. See you next time! 안녕!" He continued, and with that, he dashed away from the court room, leaving the seven younger males with several security men hired by one of them, obviously the eldest one named Jin.
Yoongi struck an eyebrow, wearing a questioning look. "Debt of gratitude?..." he said, no- it was more like a question.
Jin let out a long exhalation and stared at Yoongi in seconds. He didn't expected that Yoongi still caught that and asked him about it. "Ah that?" He answered with another question, caressing slowly his nape. "I helped his family from a drug syndicate way back after I graduated college. They were victims at that time and I had to help him and his family. I also helped him rebuild their house since it was unfortunately burnt by those syndicates and I helped him too in his job. I think, that's all," he well-explained, nodding as he agreed on his own explanation.
Everyone nodded and chit-chatted each other after. Until then, Namjoon recieved a text message. He fished for his phone and turned it on. It was sent from his brother. PrettyJackson was written on his phone. Namjoon chuckled at that silly name Jackson had inputted on his device.
PrettyJackson
Sorry for not informing you earlier. Can't join yah in your celebration today Nams. Work's calling and I need to attend a meeting. Sorry. Enjoy tho. Bye! =)Namjoon reread the text message, making sure he's reading it right. He does that everytime.

Ok. Take care. After that reply, he turned off his phone and placed it back to his pocket and looked at his friends who were busy bickering and chit-chatting around.
"C'mon. Save that talk later. We need to go. We can't stay longer here," Namjoon swallowed as he paused on his mid-sentence. "And Jackson texted me that he can't join us. Work calls," He simply muttered continually.
"You're right!" Hoseok exclaimed.
Jungkook mumbled, "Where should we go celebrate the good news?" He asked."In my restaurant, of course!" The eldest later spat.
The seven latter then exited the hall and went on their each expensive and shiny-looking cars as Jin's men still following them but they kept their distance from the boys. It was an order from Jin and they had to obey their boss.
At that day up until in night went well and quite kinda... wild. They were happy. Everyone was happy. Food and drinks scattered on their table as they happily chatting and laughing at themselves. Talking about the embarassing things they had done once in their lives and then laughed at how silly they were. Story telling, mostly comedy ones. Chatting about what happened on their surroundings and most important of all, jamming through their self-picked songs. All the sorrow they had felt was once forgotten. Atlast, they finally could feel happiness again and smile without worrying about what would happen tomorrow. No more guilt. No more sadness. No more burden. These what matters, even just for now.
It was euphoria.
