|Never on Time

Gokudera was the vongola storm guardian and he takes a lot of pride from it, he was tsuna's right hand man he was very loyal, so you understand when he prioritize him more than you.

Sometimes in your dates he would either came late or cancel saying he have to do his duties. Still you loved him and stayed because he would make it up to you the next day.

Even birthdays and special occasions he was never in time because he have to do his duties he said. Still you stayed because thats what you love about him in the first place, he was so loyal.

Today is your wedding day and he was already an hour late, the guest was starting to get impatient and bored. Another hour passes by, the guest started to leave one by one but you stayed in the church, holding yourself not to cry.

You family and friends tried to get you home but you stay and said that his just late he'll surely be here.

By now it was already dark outside, you were left alone in the church by yourself, the only source of light is the moon from the windows, the fresh flowers from the morning are now dead and wittering. Your eyes are now blodd shot red from crying.

Suddenly the church door's open and hayato run towards you panting, he was wearing the tuxedo he was supposed to wear on your wedding.

"(Y/N)....I... I'm-"

"don't!"

You interrupted before he could finish his sentence, you stand up from seating on the ground, your white dress flowing behind you, you faced hayato, guilt and pity written to his face.

"there was an attack... the tenth needed my help"

He explained, you gripped your fist tightly and look at him with tears brimming on your eyes.

"i needed you too"

He was speechless, no words escape his mouth, as you silently cried, his not dumb, he knew he messed up.

Then after a moment of silence you stopped crying and smiled at him, slowly you pulled your engagement ring and put it to his palm, he just stares at it.

"you were the best, but i just had enough, good bye hayato"

With that you walk pass him, with your weddeing dress following behind you. You didn't look back and so does he, the moment he heard the doors closed he gripped the rind on his hands and fall on the ground, tears spilling out his eyes.
