(One Punch Man) Garou

|An Exception

"oh? you're here again"

you curiously asked the bloody man that just entered your clinic, it was none other than the hero hunter himself, Garou, it had been months seen you known him, when you first met him he was unconscious on the ground with multiple injuries, you being a good person you drag his ass back to your small clinic and treated him, ever since he would come back whenever he was injured or has nowhere to go.

"shut up"

was his only reply as he made his way to one of the couch, you immediately took your tools and whatever you need and took a seat in front of him and began to treat his wounds. it was silent between the two of you but not an awkward silence but rather a comforting silence. 

"...Garou" 

you were the first to break the silence as you finish wrapping his wounds. 

"what?" 

 "ah..eh how can i say this nicely?"

"what is it! i don't have all day"

you pouted and look directly to his sharp yellow eyes which Garou found cute, not like he would admit it.

"...you hunt heroes right?...........so why have you not kill me yet?"

you asked afraid of his answer you look away, i forget to mention but you are actually an S-Class hero, running the clinic was just a hobby you do in your free time. 

Garou doesn't seem to be affected by the question since with his usual confident voice he fired back the question to me.

"aren't you a hero? so why are you still treating my injuries?" 

"well, it doesn't matter if your a criminal or a hero or a civilian, a patient is a patient i can't just look away when someone was injured"

Garou just smirk to your innocent remark, with his newly wrapped arm he pulled you from you arm towards him and made you sat in his lap. your face immediately red but it's not like your not enjoying it.

"wha-what the hell"

Garou prevented you from escaping as he tightly wrap his hands around your torso, knowing theirs no escape you buried you head to his chest, his scent was comforting and the beat of his heart was lulling you to sleep. as you listen to his heat beat you felt him smirk.

"your actually right, a hero is a hero and i'm gonna beat the hell out of everyone...but not you your the only exception remember that"

you know it's wrong and loving him would put your career at risk but who cares, you drifted of to sleep with a smile, finally your nor alone anymore.
