(One Punch Man) Metal Bat/Bad

"You sure you can go alone?" 

"For the tenth times, yes, i can go alone, don't worry about me and take care of yourself okay"

you re assured the man over the phone, earlier you received a call that a monster had appeared in the next city, apparently you were the closest hero that can be dispatched immediately. 

Bad or also known as Metal Bat called after receiving news that the monster was a dragon level, he can't just focus on the monster he was fighting knowing your fighting a stronger monster.

"if your in trouble call me immediately okay"

"yeah, you be careful" 

then the call ended, you understand his concern after all it was a dragon level threat, you yourself was nervous. to ease yourself you let your mind wonder to Metal bat knowing that he was worrying while fighting. you and bad is actually going out and both of you are actually s class heroes.

 back to the present, upon arriving at the scene you immediately focus and concentrate at the giant beast in front of you. you took a fighting position and began to attack the giant beast.

After fighting for at least 30 minutes, you start to feel your limit, you body doesn't move the same way, the enemy has quick regeneration and had super thick armor, after successfully destroying the armor it's body generate quickly, the only way to kill it was a strong blow that will destroy it's whole body.

The beast hardened his scales and let it fly towards you, after dodging a few you feet felt numb and you collapse to the ground the hard scale barely hitting you.

"come on, don't give up on me now!" you muttered as you hit your foot to move, you did successfully stand up but you were trembling, it takes all your power just to stand up.

seeing this opportunity, the beast launch it's claws to you, not having any strength to move you close you eyes and waited for the impact, yet you just heard it's claw hitting onto a metal and hearing his familiar voice.

"...i told you to call me when you in trouble aren't you!!"

"......bad"

you whispered as your eyes soften at the sight of him, he was covered in bruise and cuts maybe from fighting monsters along the way. his back that was fighting the monster was enough to make you feel safe.

you stand on the same spot as he finishes off the monster sending every bits of it's body away. he was huffing and limping but it didn't stop him from running towards you and embracing you.

"i thought i'll lose you"

His bat was long forgotten to the ground, his arms tightly wrap around you, you brought up your arms and hug him, you let out the tears and frustration you felt.

"..sorry"

you said mumbled by your teas and his chest.

"why are you apologizing you idiot"

"i should have listen to you and waited for others.....i'm sorry for being weak"

with those words, you felt him tighten his arms around you his hand caressing you hair, then you felt him kiss the top of your head.

"who said your weak!? i'll fucking beat them.....you did good"

you two stayed like that until you broke the silence again.

"thank you for saving me, i could have died if you din't come"

" you idiot!" he let you go and flick your forehead

"of course i'll always come whenever you're in trouble" 

"yeah, i love you" 

"...that's so out of nowhere, i love you too"

ever since that accident you were never allowed to fight monsters alone, Bad would always accompany you or vice versa, he has a hot temper but his actually a softhearted.
