"Boss, take this it's for you"

You handed Chrollo, the leader of the phantom troupe an antique book you stolen during your mission. Chrollo calmly took it and carefully scanned it before looking at you.

"this is an interesting one, you have my thanks"

you smile wider and sat on of the corners of the hideout, waiting for others to arrive.You are one of the founding members of the Phantom Troupe, even before Chrollo founded the Troupe you two had already known each other. Chrollo always make sure that you stay by his side, it's like his the boss while your the secretary.

Currently the only sound in the hideout was the turning of the book pages, eventually after thinking, you decided to voice out your thoughts to Chrollo.

"ne boss"

"hmmmmm"

was his only respond not even sparing you a glance as he continue to read the book. you walk closer to him and sat down right in front of him.

"When the time comes i have to choose between you and a member of the troupe, who should i save?"

Chrollo close the book his reading and gave his full attention to you.

"it's only natural that the survival of the group comes before me"

your eyes widen and sadly look at Chrollo.

"i don't want a member to die and i won't let you die even with the cost of my life, I wo---"

you didn't even finish what you were saying when Chrollo interrupted you, he gently took hold of your arm and pulled you to his arms, your head resting to his chest, his heartbeat beating a lovely lullaby.

"but your safety is the top priority......i can't afford to lose you"

You start to get sleepy as Chrollo plays with your hair. before falling asleep you mumbled something that made Chrollo slightly smile.

"i don't want to loose you either"
