AUTHOR'S NOTE: This chapter starts to get a little steamy from Leon's end (not a whole lot, but it does go into more detail than in previous chapters) So, if you're not down for that, feel free to skip to the bottom for a quick summary. Love you! 💜

Was his suit meant to be this well.. sweaty?

With each step heavier hitting than the last as if he were a looming giant, the groom began to ponder just that. He specifically ordered the inside to be layered with a light, airy material. Then what was this? Hell?

Freezing, Leon scolded himself. Of course not, if anything, it was heaven.

     She was heaven.

Daya occupied his thoughts constantly, a sweet aroma refusing to subside. A rose misted delicately after a light shower, her scent captured the tranquity, peace, and passion. All of it. And all of it  intoxicated Leon. Pictures had truly not done the blooming rose justice. And today, that scent was going to be his.

     All his.

     No more Austin.
     No more Don.

     Just him.
     And her.

     Alone.

The universe owed him the pleasure of tasting her for the first time. A family and its kingdom's decay were just a small price to pay, a small stone in tonight's path.

     Perhaps, she was a virgin.

The groom could see his bride undressing, blushing as she revealed herself to him. Leon would touch her delicate, bronzed skin, taking in its intoxicating scent. Then, he would move on to her hair in all of its dark chocolate silk. Running his fingers through its softness, he would love and coax her through the virgin's pain, and claim her as his.

The baby was a matter entirely of its whimsical own. The King would make her his Queen first, spoil her with everything her last could not. Then, he would lead Daya onto a bed filled with rose petals and stuffed bears, and take her.

     Again.

     And Again.

     And Again.

And one day, her belly would grow. Grow and grow until it could hold his little heir no longer. And Leon would raise it, either to be a fine man like himself, or a flower as delicate as its mother.

Just thinking about tonight glazed his skin over in sweat's sticky film.

Good God, he wanted her now.

     Right now.

But Daya, she never talked about sex outside of the baby making part of their agreement. If she was a virgin, she was doing a darn good job of keeping it that way. No matter. The second she allowed him to take her for the first time, that would all change.

If she wasn't, and had already allowed herself to be deflowerd by that poor excuse of a man, Leon vowed to pleasure her so much that she would forget all about him.

     And be his.
     Completely his.

He liked the sound of his.

     "Your Majesty?!"
     Pulled from euphoria again.
     "Yes, Jeana?"
"She's right down the hall. Though, she might consider it bad luck if you see her now."
His teeth clicked at his jaw's order to grind. "And why is that?"
"W-Well, in Quishea', the bride and groom are not to see each other until the ceremony. Otherwise, it's-"
     "Bad luck?"

The king's awareness was rewarded with a nod from his servant as she turned the corner, leaving him steps away from his bride's door. Taking a deep breath, the giant traced the anticipated foot steps.
