Chapter: 3

Kai pov

"Mum!?"

I jumped up looking at the visitor. She smiled and looked up from her coffee to look at my bright blue eyes.

"It's happening." Was the only thing she said before sipping her beverage again. My entire world spun and twirled. I grabbed the nearest thing I could which just happened to be Chiron.

He coughed and looked down at his arm to where I had grabbed him to stop myself from falling. "Sorry" I said and removed my hand.

I sat down in the chair next to him. "It's really happening? How long ago was this finalised?" I asked my mother searching for answers.

She cocked her head to the right for a moment, pondering the question. "2-3 Months."

I started at her in shock. I stumbled my words trying to get a grip on myself. "LET'S GO KICK SOME KAIJU BUTT!" I yelled almost shaking the building.

I ran out the door and jumped off the hill that the big house was planted on landed on an almost late Spike.

"YAHOO!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as we dived towards my cabin. Percy opened the door at the last moment and I jumped off Spike diving into the cabin coming up in a roll.

I shook it off and started packing. "What's got you in a rush. Last time I saw you this excited was when you went up against Annabeth in capture the flag and bet her" Percy said resting his arm on the draws. Annabeth, who I didn't realize was still in the cabin, smacked him upside the head mumbling, "I didn't recognised the fighting style."

I laughed. I ran around the room grabbing everything I owned and shoved it all in a suitcase. "So where are you going?" Annabeth asked and tracking my running back and forth.

"Jaeger program."

Her eyes brightened up and instantly started to help me pack leaving Percy dumbfounded on the other side of the room.

"Where's Εκλειψη?" I yelled searching for my Dragon Pendant. You see I got Tyson to make me a Dragon pendant that turns into a sword when you press the Dragon's eye. It also returns to my pocket whenever I gets lost. If you can't tell, I'm obsessed with Dragons.

"Kai, try your pocket" Percy said pointed at my shorts. I gave him a thumbs up. I grabbed my suitcase and left the cabin.

I popped my head back and said, "come visit me sometimes ok?" Percy nodded. I left the cabin again and decided to walk up the steps to the big house.

"When do we leave?!" I said as I charged open the door. My Mum laughed and thanked Chiron for his hospitality before we left the camp.
