The world of UnOrdinary isn't that complicated. Its quite simple everyone has a power, known as an ability. Every ability is extremely unique and it is really hard to find two people with the same ability, but it is possible. With an ability there comes the stats and the Po. level and Mst. Level, The stats are determined by how the ability works if you conjured a shield around you you would have a high defense stat. The potential level represents how strong one can train their ability, until they can't go any further. The Mastery level represents how powerful they currently are. On a stat sheet the mastery level would be shown, not the potential level.

In this world the hierarchy, it's as simple as who can beat up who. Stronger people get the better jobs, where weaker ones are lower in society. The tiers goes as follows low-tier, mid-tier, high-tier, elite-tier, and god-tier. This hierarchy is shown practically everywhere including schools. Everyone knows that those we are strong beat those who are weaker and the ones that are beaten beat those weaker then them and it continues down until you get to the disabled. The disabled are know as cripples and their distinctive similarity is the fact that they have no ability. Even though they are disabled they are still beaten.

One day a book name UnOrdinary showed a world where everyone was a cripple and only one person had power. He decided to help the weak and in doing so discovered that everyone had something to offer. The book was taken off the market only a month after it's publication because of the fact that it challenged their society's whole entire structure and hierarchy. A lot of people took this book to heart and vigilantes came into being, soon afterwards a corporation called, "Ember," who decided to take down every single vigilante. The ember group has slowly been moving towards Wellston. Where the main characters in the original story live
