Chapter 3

Adam's POV

Adam quickly hoisted John up and helped him walk to the infirmary. Once they got their and John takes his tonic Adam cuts through the awkward silence, "What did they mean back there, when they said cripple?" John playing a confused face said "Well, I am a cripple," "No you aren't," john quickly in defense said, "What do you mean, of course I am a cripple." Adam noticed how worried John looked and simply said, "I can prove it," Adam's iris's went red and his white turned black as this happened you could see john becoming sick, grabbing his stomach, with a stomach ache. Adam's eyes returned to normal and John's sickness went away. Adam jumped out of his head and back to reality, he felt his power yearning to be used.

John's POV

John was thinking to himself, as he sat on the bed, about how nice Adam had been for helping him to the infirmary, even though they didn't know each other. Everything was going well until he heard Adam say, "What did they mean when they said cripple, you're not a cripple?"

Adam's POV

John just said, "Just forget about it," Adam saw this was a touchy subject, and decided to put it behind them. "So, my names Adam," John replied, "It's John." They spent lunch period in the infirmary sense the doctor would let them leave.

Benji's POV

As Benji arrived at lunch he got his meal then sat down at a table secluded, sense he didn't know anyone. As he ate this beautiful girl, with lushes light blue hair and eyes that made you want to cry tears of joy, came down and sat next to him, "Hey, how have you enjoyed the day so far?" Benji responded, "It's been pretty good." "That's good, well my name is Elaine if you need anything. If you don't mind me asking, what's your ability?" "Oh well, I'm not a big hot shot if you were wondering, last I checked I am just a mid-tier and I have the ability Nausea." The girl seemed less pleased, but still talked to Benji, "I've never heard of Nausea, could you explain it to me?" "Well pretty much I cause one of three effects to someone, at random. All three effects are things that happen when you have nausea. It goes as follows: a headache, vertigo, or stomach troubles (bowel movement, or stomachache)."

After a bit Elaine said, "Well it was," Elaine seemed to question what she was about to say for a second, "nice meeting you." She then left Benji all alone again. "Dang it, she totally hates me, am I too weak, too short, did I just make a bad impression" Benji thought as Elaine left.
