Chapter 9

Benji's POV

As Benji stood next to two kids he had never seen before, a lot of things were racing through his mind, then it hit him, "Wait, what about the girl?", he thought. He looked at John and it seemed they had both realized this at the same time, with everything that had happened with Adam, they had completely forgotten. John quickly told Benji, "I'm going to tell Doc that we are going to leave, real quick!" John scurried off leaving Benji alone with Adam's sleeping body. As Benji examined it he quickly noticed that although most of the blood was coming from his eyes, there was quite a lot that managed to slip by through the mouth, just in the same sequence as the eyes so it looked like the blood just went over the mouth. It seemed like Adam was internally bleeding, "Doc, we have an emergency!" yelled Benji. The doc came rushing over,

"What happened?"

"Nothing new, but he seems to be internally bleeding."

"Dammit, we don't have the tech to deal with that. Try getting Elaine she might just be strong enough."

"Why don't we just bring him to a hospital?"

"There isn't any time!"

Benji and John rushed out as John explained they were going to go talk to Seraphina. Benji asked, "Why?" to that John responded, "Elaine, won't talk to me." Benji was curious as to why, but decided they didn't have enough time. As they were running through the dimly lit hallway, "Hey this is where Vivian is, go grab her. I'll meet you back at the med bay with Elaine," John said as they rushed by. Benji and John split up.

John's POV

Even though John didn't really know Adam very well, he found himself in debt to him, do to the fact that he saved him from spending years of his life in a bubble, also it would be nice to have another friend.

John rushed down through the corridors until he rushed to outside, where he was met by Wenqi, Rouker and Illena. "I don't have time for this, guys," said John, "Then make time!" they all said. All three went to strike at once, Wenqi charged forward, Illena jumped into the air to pound him, and Rouker sent off two missiles. John reacted quickly, pulling Wenqi up to his body, then quickly dashing backward. Illena struck Wenqi in the back, then they were both hit by Rouker's missiles. While they were all down, John punch Wenqi across the face knocking her unconscious, "She's the speedy one, and I don't want anyone catching up to me," he thought. After that was finished, he went back to charging to the girl's dormitories. He rushed to Seraphina's door, and quickly pounded on the door. "Elaine, is that you?"

"No, it's me, John?"

"Come in"

Sera unlocked the door and John came in. Seraphina plopped on the couch, she was in some casual clothes. Her top being a black tank top with a loose purple flowery shirt over that. Her bottom some sweat pants. John looked at her, even though she had no makeup on, she still looked more beautiful than any other student at Wellston. "I'm really worried about Elaine," Seraphina said. John looked at her and asked, "what's wrong?"

"She should've been back from turf wars by now,"

"You mean she isn't back yet?"

"Yeah, she's really late. We were even supposed to go out to lunch an hour ago."

"Are you saying she's been gone for a day?"

"I just thought she stayed at someone else's place last night, until I realized no one was back this morning"

"I'm sure she'll be fine, I mean they have Arlo right. Barely anyone can even touch him, let alone hurt him?"

Arlo's POV

"Really a knife to my throat?" exclaimed Arlo, to that Gamie replied, "Well, we never got to finish our date," as they were talking a girl walks into their section of the train, "What is going on he-" she notices the knife to the Arlo's throat. Arlo looks towards where the voice came from and saw the most beautiful women ever, her hair teal and eyes turquoise. She wore a small dress, with a vial around her neck. Her voice was like an angel to him. "Really, are you saying that the train got hijacked by this girl? You know some of us have places to be!" She said with annoyance, her eyes then began to glow, and said "Hey blondie use your barrier as close to your body as possible, don't ask any questions." Arlo decided to humor her, but then realized he was able to put his barrier to the point where it was like another layer of skin over his body, sending the throwing knife flying, she then went up Gamie and kicked her in the crotch. Blyke then rushed up and shot a laser onto the flooring and made a hole, which Gamie fell through. "How did you do that?" asked Arlo.
