Dancing's fun!

Qibli's POV

Qibli was with Sunny in Glory's house right after they finished decorating the cafe. Or, more like, mansion or castle. It was huge! They were here to find clothes to wear to the Halloween party because Sunny insisted that he should look good for his dance with Umber.

"Nooo...give him something spooky but a tuxedo or something!" Sunny commanded. Sunny, Qibli, and Thorn fought for about ten minutes on whether wearing a costume was required.

Sunny and Qibli won, of course, due to the fact that Thorn would never win a fight with her two stubborn ray's of sunshine. "Hm, zombie....no that would be to hard to make......skeleton?" Glory wondered.

She wasn't the best at making clothes, but she still was better than anyone else Sunny and Qibli knew, plus free. A knock came on the door.

"Miss Glory." A servant said, opening the door. "You have a visitor." Qibli turned his head to see them. A medium height boy walked inside. He was taller than all of them, and had a goofy grin on. The servant closed the door and left them alone

"Ooooohh, it's Glory's boyfriend!" Sunny teased. "Hi Deathbringer! What are you doing here?"

Deathbringer walked up behind Glory, who somehow still didn't notice he was there and was too absorbed in her designing to even notice that a servant let someone in. Qibli was about to say something, but Deathbringer quickly put his index finger to his mouth and made a quiet "sh" sound.

"Boo!" Deathbringer shouted, shoving Glory's chair a bit. "Ah!" Glory yelled and Deathbringer almost lost all his teeth as Glory's fist came swinging to his face.

"It's just me!" Deathbringer replied, laughing. Glory glared at him. "I'll have it ready by tomorrow morning, you can leave, while I deal with this brain-dead bodyguard." She said, poking Deathbringer's arm.

Qibli nodded and he and Sunny walked out of her house. "Glory seemed cool." Qibli said. Sunny beamed at him. "I know right! And plus, she and Deathbringer are so cute together!" She exclaimed.

Qibli thought he had seen Glory blush when she looked at him. Maybe she really did like Deathbringer.

Qibli stood nervously with his friends. Sunny was with him too, standing in between Winter and him. "So, Moon, Do you have a date to the dance?" Sunny asked Moon, who was standing on the other side of Winter.

She shook her head. "How about you, Kinkajou?" Sunny asked. "No." Kinkajou replied. "At lease that makes three of us." Sunny said with a sigh.

"Yeah, all of us don't have any dates." Moon said, stealing a glance at Winter. "Not all of uussss!" Sunny said.

"My twin brother here is gonna ask Umber to dance with him!!" She said, poking Qibli. "Umbli!" Kinkajou shouted. Luckily, the music was loud enough to cover it so that no one else was able to hear.

"Umbli! Umbli! Umbli!" His friends started to chant. "Come on Qib! The dance is about to start! Go ask him! Go go go!!" Sunny said, shoving Qibli in the direction of Umber.

He was at the food court with Clay, his older brother. Qibli's heart started thumping faster when he saw the chocolate brown haired boy.

"Uhm...h-hey Umber!" Qibli said. Clay and Umber turned to their heads to look at him in unison. "Hi Qibli! What's up?" Umber said, a smile on his face.

Was it just him, or did Qibli see him blush when he noticed Qibli? Clay smirked. "I'll go see what Peril's doing." He said, leaving the two boys alone.

"Umber, look. I....I actually like you in.....a romantic way. I-I always think about if you'd approve of me doing something. And I just wanted to ask if you wanted to dance with me." Qibli confesses, cheeks red.

Umber blinked a few times in shock, before jumped into Qibli's arms and giving him a hug. "I love you too! And of course I'd dance with you!" He said.

Qibli retuned the hug. As if on cue, Thorn came on the microphone and said, "Everyone, grab a partner. We're starting the slow dance."

Qibli smiled at Umber and dragged him to the dance floor. Their arms and legs moved together in sync. He noticed all the couples that were dancing: Glorybringer, Ripnami, Cleril, Starspeaker, Turtlejou, Winterwatcher, Anemarin and many more.

"This has to be the best day of my life." Umber whispered. "Agreed, baby~" Qibli teased. Umber laughed. "Shut up, love."
