Amber
A few weeks have passed since the night in the club, and it had honestly brought us all closer together.
We'd been spending some time focusing on school, something we'd kind of abandoned over the last while, but in our spare time we were always trying to find ways for all of us to be together.
Which also meant it didn't leave much time for me and Cayden to just be a normal couple, because yeah we live together but we never got to go on dates or anything, but I guess we're not really a normal couple.
Not that I'm complaining, these past few weeks have been some of the best weeks ever in my opinion.
Tonight the group are planning on meeting at one of our favourite places, the diner. I'm not sure why it's everyone else's favourite, but for me it's definitely the food.
Cayden and I were going to be late, not that it was going to surprise anyone because we're always late.
"Cayden we're supposed to be there now." I tell him but he doesn't budge, he never does but I never make him.
"It's ok amb, everyone knows we're going to be late. They've probably told us an early time anyway." He tells me, wrapping him arms around my waist.
"I think they know why we're always late." I tell him, feeling my cheeks tint under my makeup.
"Anyone could look at you and understand why I would want an extra few minutes alone."
"We legit have most days, and every night together, but you always get worked up before we have to be somewhere."
"Maybe if you didn't bend down for your heals in front of me every time then I would get so worked up."
Cayden turns me around and plants his lips on mine, while I happily accept, forgetting all the reasons why I was giving out to him just seconds ago.
"We're so late." I mutter, pulling my dress back on.
Cayden doesn't answer, smiling at the same thing I say every time this happens.
"Uh, I look like I've had sex don't I? There gonna know."
"They'd know anyway."
"Your not helping."
"Stop worrying."
I roll my eyes. "I need ten minutes to fix myself up. Get the car ready."
Less than ten minutes later I get into the passenger seat of Caydens car, satisfied with how I look.
"Ready?" He asks.
I nod my head, and smile. "I'm sorry if I was rude before."
"You weren't. Don't worry."
I smile. "Well were really late, so put you foot on it."
Cayden chuckles and shakes his head before we start our journey to the diner.
When we get to the diner, I'm not surprised to see that we're the last here.
Once Cayden and I have both taken our seats everyone shakes their heads, grinning.
"Shut up." I mutter, while Cayden chuckles.
Once we've all ordered, we begin to have a conversation.
"So I was thinking, since Mexico was a bit of a shit show we should go on a little getaway sometime soon." Naomi says.
"Where are you thinking?" I Ask.
