I Got You

*Daryl's pov*

We made it back to the vatos base and I walked in front with my gun trained on Miguel's back pushing him forward. As soon as we made it to the doors, they opened, and inside were around 20 guys all armed with either guns, bats or knives stood behind Guillermo.

"I see my guns, but they aren't all in the bag." Said Guillermo annoyed. Rick then walked forward slightly before saying "that's because they aren't yours." Guillermo laughed slightly and looked over to the guy next to him and shared a knowing look. "Why couldn't you of just made this easier on yourselves." He said but before he could continue Rick interrupted.

"You Said come locked and loaded," and from that I knew we were about to start shooting; me, Rick and T-dog all readied and aimed our guns and then Rick carried on,

"so here we are."

I made sure to have my gun pointed on the guy who took Sophie, if we had to start shooting I wanted him to be the first to go. We all stood in silence for a few moments but I couldn't wait any longer. I pushed Miguel forward into Guillermo, "now, you have your guy, so give us back both of ours."

Guillermo could see I was getting antsy and he smirked slightly. "It still doesn't seem like a fair trade to me. How about we give you the Asian and we keep the blonde. Fair?"

It took everything in my body not to jump at him right then, but I knew if I did I would just get shot. "If you lay a hand on her I will feed you to the damn walkers!" My body was throbbing with anger as those words came out my mouth, and I made sure that the look I was giving them showed that I meant every word.

Guillermo opened his mouth to say something but before he could someone interrupted him.

"Phillipe!" "Phillipe!"

An old lady came out from behind the crowd calling for someone.
"Abuela go back with the others." Guillermo said looking annoyed. I was ready to start shooting all of these guys if I didn't get Soph back anytime soon, but I didn't want an innocent person to get caught in the crossfire.

"Get that old lady outta the line of fire!" I yelled  while adjusting the grip on my gun. No one acknowledged what I had said and the lady continued talking. "It's Mr Gilbert! He needs his asthma pump!"

Guillermo and rest started to look concerned but before they could deal with whatever was going on the lady started walking towards Rick.
"Officer?" She asked him, since who was still wearing his sheriff uniform. "Please don't arrest Phillipe he is a good boy!"
This women was obviously not aware that the world had gone to shit.

Rick lowered his gun, and changed his tone of voice, before speaking to her. "M'am we're not here to arrest your grandson."
"Then what do you want with him?" She asked. I was completely confused by the situation and didn't know what to say.
"He's helping us look for some missing people. A fella named Glenn and young girl." Rick continued. The women's eyes lit up with understanding. "The Asian boy? He's with Mr Gilbert. And there's a blonde girl there as well. Come, come." The old said while grabbing Rick's hand and guiding him through the crowd.

Guillermo looked defeated and said "let them pass!" And then all of his men moved out of the way of Rick. Me and T-dog followed closely behind him and the old lady.

I couldn't help but feel this was some kind of trap, but if it was, we were in it now and I didn't see an easy way out.

The women took us through a few corridors which led outside to a small garden with a couple of chairs. We then went up a small set of stairs and into a building which to me looked just like a old folks home.
Was this where they were keeping Sophie? When she was taken my mind immediately went to the worst of places, and this certainly wasn't one of them.
