The child of three

Wendigo part 5

Dean leads the way, molotov cocktail in hand. Haley and Ben follow suit, Sam and I at the end of the group. "Allison Winchester" I hear a spine shilling voice whisper run through the forest. The hairs on the back of my neck are standing straight up as I turn around. "What was that?" I ask slightly shaken up at the sound of the voice, but only loud enough for Sam to hear. "What are you talking about Ally?" Sam asks "That voice...." I start and than I realize exactly how crazy I sound "What voice?" he asks. I shake my head "Never mind, it's probably nothing" I tell him. He gives me a look. "We should probably follow, otherwise we may lose the group" I quickly say and then hurry to walk next to Dean "What was that about?" Dean asks. I point towards a tree that has claw marks on it and is smeared with blood. "I think we're still on track" I say 

Later that day I was alone, because somehow I lost the group and I got one better.... there's still a Wenigo on the loose and that voice from earlier? It won't leave me alone. Yes, I know how crazy I must sound. I look around me as I hear my name being called over and over again, coming from various directions. I want to yell at it to 'shut the fuck up' but that would get me some unwanted attention and could lead the wendigo towards me, if it didn't already know where I am. Anxiety bubbles up to my throat and it makes me sick to my stomach. I'm all alone, in the woods with a wendigo that I don't know the location off.... Yeah, I'm screwed. 

Suddenly I hear a girl scream. 'Haley' I think. I start to run towards the sound, but then I stop thinking logically. Is it smart to run towards a scream, cause for all I know it could be the wendigo trying to lure me. Then again, how smart is it to stay here? Right now any possibility could lead to my death and while a wendigo usually keeps his victims alive for a while, my chances to escape are not great.... unless my brothers find me in time.
