Nina's Party

Nina is having a party tonight and you know what that means? It's time to let go of everything that has been getting to my mind lately. I am always excited for her party because they are truly amazing. Every Friday one of the seniors throws a party, and no Underclassmen are allowed; mostly because we don't want to get in trouble for the reckless things they do. Monty sometimes shows up to the parties, but never stays, which I am thankful for so he doesn't run into me. 

"We have to dress amazing tonight, there's going to be so many people tonight," Nina said while in her room doing her makeup. Nina's room is so amazing, she has sort of a white theme to her room. All of the interior is white, and bed covers. Her room looks so clean and organized compared to mine. 

Nina's Dad is a lawyer, he travels to different states, sometimes countries to win cases. Nina told me her Dad left her and Monty a bank account that he puts money through so they can fend for themselves, it's kind of sad sometimes because their dad is always away. 

Anyways, for Ninas outfit she chose a black cocktail dress it was for her body type. For my dress I chose a black sparkly jumpsuit from Venus it is very pretty, it also had lace throughout the bottom of the dress,  I wore my hair down to complete the look. 

I sighed and pushed my hair back, "Do you mind if I go to the bathroom?" I asked Nina.

She glanced at me for a second, "Go ahead." She said while getting dressed. 

I walk into their bathroom nervous, I am trying not to have a panic attack, Monty is literally right down the hall. God help me. I turn the sink to wash my hands to relax my nerves before this party; once I finish I make sure to leave everything back to where it was, but when I leave I run into something very, very hard. 

Monty groaned, "Watch where you're going slut." Monty said. Over course it was him. 

I was going to have a panic attack, "S-sorry." I stuttered while running away. 

There's no reason to cry Cora. 

Monty's room was down the hall from Nina's so I ran quickly without looking back...

As we were setting up for the party I overheard Monty on the phone with someone saying they were meeting up somewhere in an alleyway. I know I shouldn't snoop through other peoples conversation but I had to so I could use whatever my enemy was using against him incase I need to. 

Later that night.

It was finally time for the party and I was so excited. Normally Nina has her parties in her backyard because they have a pool and a hot tub, and surprisingly a bar. Right now I am hanging out at the bar drinking, which I normally do not do. I know why would the nerd be drinking? Well because she's tired of the world. 

From the corner of my eye I see Monty staring at me with his new slut, he has a new slut every week so I'm not surprised. Nina says she gets tired of him bringing a new girl each week, I feel bad for her sometimes.

"Woah when did you become a party girl." My old friend Aidan asked as he sat down next to me.

"Since now." I said clearly out of it and I only had 3 shots of vodka.

Aidan took the vodka away and had some for himself.

I groaned, "Heyyy that's mine," I said.

Aidan laughed, "Technically it's Nina's dad's stash," Aidan stated.

I thought about the conversation Monty had on the phone and wanted to ask Aidan if he knew about a place called the Alleyway. 

"So what's this alleyway Monty the jerk  is talking about?" I asked.

Aidan gasped, "WHO told you about the Alleyway?" Aidan asked shocked.

I jumped out of my seat spilling my drink, "Why are you shocked?" I asked while cleaning it up. 

"Now is not a good time Cora," Aidan said looking down. 

I took one more shot before getting up to leave and I felt Aidans hand grab my arm and lead me out of the bar. 

He kept pulling me until we were someplace quiet, "We need to talk but not here. Grab some water and advil," Aidan said.

I did as I was told, mainly because I didn't want to have an aching hangover the next day, and I never drink so it would be terrible. 

As we finally went somewhere quiet he finally started talking about it, "The alleyway is where people go to make drug deals and sometimes fight. It's a crowd you should not be mixed up with Cora." Aidan explained.

"Monty said he was going tonight-"

"NO way you are not following Monty Jensen." Aidan cut me off.

"He is my bully Aidan and if I want to use some evidence against him, I need something."I said sincerely.

"Fine but you're not going alone." Aidan said as he was driving us out of the party.
